🚨 OFFICIAL: Coach Fadlu Davids leaves Simba SC

Yesterday’s 1-0 win over Gaborone United in Botswana was his final game in charge. The respected South African coach did not return with the team — instead, he flew to Johannesburg to prepare for his next chapter.

Fadlu departs with four of his key assistants (first assistant coach, goalkeeper coach, analyst, and biokineticist). For now, Matola and Riedoh Berdien will take charge as Simba prepare for their next league clash against Fountain Gate.

❤️ Coach Fadlu leaves with nothing but love for Simba — the club, the leadership, and above all, the fans.

What hurt him most was not being able to deliver a trophy despite coming close in the CAF Confederation Cup, Premier League, and Community Shield.

He raised concerns on areas Simba must improve, and when changes did not come, he felt a giant like Simba cannot continue this way.

Still, he departs with gratitude and hope, believing: “One day, I will be back.” 👋

🟢 Next Chapter: Raja Club Athletic

Fadlu Davids is now set to take charge of Raja Casablanca 🇲🇦, where all agreements are in place.

He returns to the club where he previously served as assistant coach, helping them win the Botola Pro unbeaten throughout the season.

He will fly out to Morocco tomorrow to begin work as head coach, with Raja promising him and his staff full support to bring the club back to the summit of Moroccan and African football.
