Dear Teachers,

I understand that times are tough. The country is facing many challenges, and things are not moving as smoothly as we all wish. The government and some school owners are not helping matters when it comes to increasing salaries. These issues can sometimes make us unhappy, if not outright frustrated.

However, in these trying times, we must remember to hold ourselves together and avoid transferring our frustration onto the kids. They are not the cause of our problems, and taking out our aggression on them will not solve anything. In fact, it could only create more problems for us, as they are innocent in all this.

School owners and management should also do better by increasing staff salaries. Prices of goods and services keep rising, and it’s only fair that the salaries of teachers reflect these changes to ease the burden we all feel. Together, we can create a better environment for ourselves and the students.

Addiction is truly a powerful thing. Ever since boiled groundnut came into season, there hasn’t been a day I haven't eaten it. Recently, I started breaking out with acne on my face. I’ve tried several acne products, but nothing worked. After some thought, I began to suspect groundnut might be the cause. So, I decided to stop eating it to see if my face would clear up… 🌝🌝

Not even three hours later, a girl selling groundnut passed by my shop. Brethren, I don’t even know when I called her over, frowning like she was forcing me to buy it. Now, I’ve bought it, finished eating, and my throat is at peace.
