SIR VICTOR ANTAI COMMENDS GOV. UMO ENO ON THREE YEARS OF INCLUSIVE, TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP IN AKWA IBOM
As Governor Umo Bassey Eno marks three years of impactful and people-centered leadership in Akwa Ibom State, the Executive Director, Projects, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Sir Victor Antai KJW PhD, has joined millions of Akwa Ibomites and admirers across the country in celebrating what he described as “three remarkable years of purposeful governance, visionary leadership, and sustainable development.”
In a goodwill message made available to newsmen, Sir Victor Antai commended Governor Umo Eno for his unwavering commitment to the growth, unity, and advancement of Akwa Ibom State through his widely acclaimed ARISE Agenda, which continues to serve as a strategic blueprint for economic prosperity, rural development, human capital advancement, and social inclusion.
According to Antai, Governor Eno’s administration has distinguished itself through inclusive leadership, compassionate governance, and a deliberate commitment to carrying every segment of society along irrespective of political affiliation, ethnic background, or social status.
He noted that the governor has continued to build bridges of peace, reconciliation, and cooperation across the state, creating a governance atmosphere where unity, dialogue, and collective progress are placed above division and political sentiments.
The NDDC Executive Director further applauded Governor Eno’s strong investment in human capital development, particularly in the areas of youth empowerment, education, entrepreneurship support, women inclusion, skills acquisition, and job creation initiatives aimed at preparing the younger generation for a productive and competitive future.
Antai observed that under the ARISE Agenda, Akwa Ibom State has continued to witness notable progress in agricultural development, infrastructure expansion, healthcare delivery, rural transformation, tourism development, and support for small and medium-scale enterprises, all geared towards improving the living standards of the people.
He described Governor Umo Eno as “a visionary and compassionate leader whose administration reflects sincerity, humility, accessibility, and a genuine passion for service,” adding that the governor’s calm disposition and people-oriented approach to governance have continued to inspire confidence, trust, and widespread admiration among citizens.
According to him, the governor’s leadership style has not only strengthened democratic values and public participation in governance but has also rekindled hope among the people by ensuring that governance remains responsive to the needs and aspirations of ordinary citizens.
Drawing inspiration from the Holy Scriptures, Sir Victor Antai quoted Psalm 85:10, saying: “Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.” He explained that the passage aptly reflects Governor Umo Eno’s leadership philosophy and his dedication to justice, peace, compassion, and harmonious coexistence in Akwa Ibom State.
Antai further praised the governor’s commitment to infrastructural development and the ex*****on of impactful projects across the state, noting that the administration’s development strides continue to position Akwa Ibom as one of the fastest-growing and most peaceful states in Nigeria.
“Governor Umo Eno has demonstrated that leadership is not about noise or political theatrics, but about vision, sacrifice, empathy, and measurable impact in the lives of the people. His administration continues to stand as a shining example of purposeful and progressive governance,” Antai stated.
While congratulating the governor on the milestone anniversary, Sir Victor Antai prayed for God’s continued wisdom, strength, sound health, and divine guidance upon Governor Umo Eno as he continues to lead Akwa Ibom State towards greater prosperity, unity, peace, and enduring development.
He expressed confidence that the governor’s legacies of inclusive governance, human-centered policies, and sustainable development would remain indelible in the history and future growth of Akwa Ibom State.
