Igbos would be President after me- Atiku

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar has said the Igbos can only become President after he must have completed his tenure.

Atiku also vowed to prioritise developmental projects in Southeast and other regions when elected, saying that any project in any State is a favour to Nigeria.

Atiku, who was addressing Southeast PDP stakeholders in Enugu on Tuesday, said: "I am the stepping stone for Igbos to become President of Nigeria".

The PDP candidate, who maintained that he would win the 2023 presidential polls, said his great relationship with the Igbos would continue until they assume the presidency after his tenure.

"I've had close relationship with the Igbos and this influenced my choices of Senator Ben Obi and Mr. Peter Obi as my running mates in my two previous outings as presidential candidate. Again, I have chosen another great Igbo here (Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa) for the third time as my running mate.

"I have three Igbo children and I am saying this for the very first time in public. So, my relationship with Ndigbo did not start today," Atiku said.

While promising to prioritise projects in Southeast, Atiku took a swipe at the All Progressives Congress(APC)-led administration for segregating some parts of the country with the paucity of projects.

"The second Niger bridge in Onitsha is not a favour to the Southeast, rather it is or should be seen as a favour to Nigeria. This is because it is not only the people of the Southeast that use the bridge," Atiku said.

He also expressed concern over the ongoing sit-at-home in the region which he said had dealt a big blow to the economy of the region and the country at large, calling on elders in the region to speak out against it.

He said his administration would pay close attention to tackling insecurity, economic and other challenges bedevilling the country.

It is now over four months since Ms Deborah was brutally murdered in Shehu Shagari College of Education Sokoto, Nigeria.

Despite the fact that the murderers made a video of the killing showing their own faces, nobody has been arrested and charged with murder.

Those arrested where those charged with what they tagged as "public disturbance". Just two persons. They even had 34 lawyers to defend them.

Rumor has it that one of the presidential candidates contesting for 2023 General elections was the one that sponsored the lawyers. But since it is a rumor, let us disregard it and talk about the big issue.

The big issue is that the college of education where she was murdered and her body burnt, has since reopened.

It was Aminu Tambuwal, the Sokoto State Governor who set up a 12 member committee to investigate the killing of Ms Deborah. The same governor received the report which is not made public. The same governor concluded that the school should be reopened despite the fact that no one has been charged with the crime. And to make it more interesting, all the students resuming were made to pay a thousand naira. My guess is that the money is for damages.

The message they want you to go home with is that the case is closed.

The governor made himself the investigator, the jury, and the judge at the same time.

Make of this whatever you like, but I do not hail murderers or tolerate those who support murderers. I have no kind words for those who sympathize with murderers, or those who politicize human life.

All those that killed Deborah, all those who sat on the fence on her case, all those who had the power to make the perpetrators face the crime but did nothing, MAY THEY NEVER KNOW PEACE! AMEN!

TWO WAYS" The Narrow & The Broad Way” Matthew 7:13-14.

In Life There Are Only Two Things Involved.
Life as a whole is placed in two groups, every thing in life has it’s exact opposite. We have the good and bad; life and death; success or failure.
We will be looking at a very interesting and important topic, because this topic is the base of our Christian life and walk with God. It will also determine where we will spend eternity.
Matthew 7:13-14.
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

This passage tells us of two ways, two lives, two ends. The way to heaven and the way to hell. The right and wrong, the good and evil.
In one of which we are currently walking MAJESTICALLY, either knowingly or unknowingly. There is no middle way, is either you are on the narrow way, or you are on the broad way.

The Wide Way! ” some call it ” God Understands; God see my Heart; Era of Grace””
This way allures multitude into it, and keeps them in it, off course ” the gate is wide, and the way is so vast and broad.” We have lot of travelers on this way.
~ You have abundance of liberty in this way;

the gate is wide, and the way is so vast and broad

,and stands wide open to tempt those that go right in. You can do whatever you like on this way, dress to kill, flaunt your b***s and say your nasty words. No body cares. You can go in with all your lusts, pride, arrogance, lasciviousness. This way give no check to your appetites, passion. You may walk how you want, carry different kinds of things and characters.
It is a broad way, for there is nothing to stop or obstruct your walk in it. There are many paths in it, you can make your choice on the kind and type of sin you want to endorse in. People in this way always use this slogan ” IT DOES NOT MATTER ” there is Liberty.
