It's high time young minds start expressing themselves, because they have lots of life changing ideas up there that will marvel older ones.

Their minds are still fresh, young and unoccupied with the issues of life, this in turn makes them more creative.

They ask lots of questions and get answers to them, thereby making their brain bank filled to the brim without any route of escape.

I used to be like this smart girl here, I started drawing arts and writing stories, poems and inspirational articles since I was in primary school — I guess that should be around primay 4 or so.

I had lots of exercise books at home filled with different stories.

If I had this kind of support or if my parents knew what I know today, they would have supported my writing dreams than they did then and I would have authored so many amazing books.

Dear Young Mind;

Do you have great ideas in you which you would so much like to share with your world? Do not keep it inside, bring it out and let your name be imprinted in the minds of people as a young mind that is smart and making waves.

“I don’t like to read books” is not a smart proclamation to make out loud.

Even if true, grapple with that inadequacy in private until you win.

Even if you’ve found a way to make money without being studious, you’d soon find things you want, that only a sound mind can unlock.

Much like a fit body, sophistication cannot be bought, only earned through curiosity, discipline and diligence.

Teach your kids this.

Dear Young Mind;

Do not let me deceive you, I have walked the path you are currently on and I can BOLDLY tell you that you will outgrow that crush you are having for that girl/boy.

At that moment, when your body is experiencing changes as you enter your puberty age, lot of things are going to change in you.

This includes being more observant of your looks and getting attracted to the opposite s*x.

In as much as these changes are normal, DO NOT LET IT CONTROL YOU.

That 'beautiful girl/handsome boy' you can't 'live without' 😂 will wear you out at least 2 years after you graduate from secondary school.

I'm telling you from experience 😊

Do not ruin your life because of these fleeting feelings that you are CAPABLE of controlling.

Just give yourself 3 years after graduating from secondary school, you will laugh at your choice back then in school.

You will look at yourself and ask — "Was my taste this cheap? How could I have fell in love with this person? Teenage love can blind eyes o 😂"

Don't settle for less because of emotions that will soon fade.

Don't look back at this stage of your life and cry 😢 because of the poor choice you made.

Even if you later decide to fall in love with your teenage crush, it will be out of conviction that this is what you truly deserve, after you both have grown and added value to your lives.

How old are you again?

Dear Young Mind;

Anytime you hear someone telling that you are too young to get something done.

Tell them that the advantage you have, above an older person to get that thing done is because YOU ARE YOUNG.

Your age should NEVER be a barrier as to why you should not achieve all you have to.

Don't forget that this time of your life won't stay forever.

Use all the advantages and opportunities this time of your life embodies to break barriers and make it big.

Just because they were unable to do it when they were your age does not mean you can't do it now.

You are not them and they are not you.

What you want in life is totally different from what they want.

Do not let anybody shut out your light of optimism and boldness to achieve greatness because of the limitations of their mind.

Let your mind think of every impossible things that you think you can't achieve, then let's work together on how to bring them to reality.

My dear, you will marvel at what you can go at YOUR AGE.

This goes to show his humility.

Peter Obi says, “When I asked him how he knew me, he said that he had followed my journey during the elections and was inspired by the good things people said about me.”

A good man is a good man.

In power or out of power.

We still know who has Nigerians and the Youths at heart.
