6 POLICE OFFICERS PROMOTED, DECORATED BY OSUN CP
The Osun State Police Command is pleased to announce the promotion of six outstanding officers from the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) to Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) by the Police Service Commission (PSC). The brief but colorful decoration ceremony took place today at the Command Headquarters in Osogbo, presided over by the Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Gotan, mnips.
The newly promoted Chief Superintendents of Police are:
1. CSP Idris Yahaya Balogun – O/C Abere
2. CSP Mohammed Suleiman – DPO Ikoyi
3. CSP Bosede David Femi – DPO Oja-Oba
4. CSP Akanmu Sunday Gbadebo – DPO Ejigbo
5. CSP Oladapo Titilope Hammed – DPO ‘A’ Ilesha
6. CSP Ajani Motunrayo – DC Intelligence, SCID Osogbo
In his remarks, CP Ibrahim Gotan, mnips commended the officers for their dedication, professionalism, and exemplary service to the people of Osun State. He charged them to redouble their efforts in the fight against crime and to continue upholding the highest standards of the Nigeria Police Force.
The CP also expressed appreciation to the Police Service Commission and the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, for the promotion, noting that it reflects their commitment to rewarding hard work and merit.
The Osun State Police Command reassures the public of its unwavering resolve to ensure safety and security across the state.
