My friend was in a relationship with this guy for 2+ years until he had an opportunity from his uncle to go study abroad. He broke the news to my friend and she's pregnant too.

He begged her to have the baby that his family will look after them. She kept the baby and had a girl. Everything was going well but two years in he became distant, barely takes her call or even communicate more.

The mum also noticed and confronted him but he kept on denying it. It's been 5 years and he's not back, neither is there a traits of him coming back.

My friend is tired and wants to move on with her because she feels there's nothing in there for her anymore. She's thinking the worst scenario in her head and it's affecting her productivity at work too.

Do you think she should still wait or just move on? She's really in a bad place mentally and emotionally.

A man in my area kept sacrificing everything for his marriage while his wife took all the praise publicly.

Whenever there was rent to pay, school fees, or family bills, this man would struggle day and night to provide.

But outside, his wife painted a completely different picture.

On Facebook and during women’s meetings, she always talked like she was the one carrying the whole family financially.

People started praising her for being a strong independent woman. Some even mocked the husband indirectly without knowing the truth.

The man kept quiet for years because he didn’t want embarrassment in the marriage.

Then one day during a family gathering, the wife stood up again and started talking about how she had suffered alone to build the home.

That was when the husband quietly brought out a file.

Omo… receipts started appearing like examination results.

House rent transfers.
School fees alerts.
Hospital bills.
Even the receipt for the woman’s car.

The whole room became silent.

One uncle removed his glasses slowly. Another auntie stopped eating meat halfway.

The wife just sat there staring at the floor while everybody realized the man had been silently carrying the family all along.
