The Issue:
There is so much disorderliness and lawlessness in Nigeria and among Nigerians.

Given that most Nigerian adults were strictly raised with physical punishment by their parents, one would ordinarily expect Nigeria to be the most organised and law-abiding nation in the world. But, of course, you know we are very far from this standard.

Therefore, is physical punishment still the ideal method to employ when raising your children, given its obvious abysmal failure?

Many other nations that don't or rarely employ physical punishment on their children are more orderly and obedient to rules and laws.

Question:
Do you think we will have a less aggressive society if we ban all forms of physical punishment completely?
