*OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT*

It is with deep shock and profound sorrow that the National Executive Council of the Celestial Church of Christ Youth Organization Worldwide (Nigeria Region) announces the passing unto glory of our beloved brother, minister, and servant of God,*Evang. Olusesi Adebola Abiona*, who slept in Lord, the early hours of this morning.

A faithful Shepherd and Minister of the Gospel, he served the body of Christ with uncommon dedication.

Bro. Olusesi was, at one time, the *Zonal Secretary* of the CCCYORG South-West Zone, and until his passing, had just been appointed to serve once again—this time as *Sports Team Lead I*—for the forthcoming *2026 Annual Youth Conference* of our great Organization.

His sudden departure is a heavy blow to the National Executive Council, the South-West Zone, the Ogun State Chapter, and the entire Youth Organization. Truly, we have lost a soldier of Christ whose life was marked by diligence, humility, and devotion to the work of the Kingdom.

At this time of grief, we stand in solidarity with his family, his Parish, the Ogun State brethren and the entire Celestial Church of Christ fold. We pray that the Lord comforts all who mourn and grants us strength to carry on the work to which he gave his all.

Further details on burial arrangements will be communicated in due course.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.
