*Ogun West APC Stakeholders Stand United, Speak in One Voice at Strategic Meeting with Consensus Candidate, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, CON, FCA*
Today, Sunday 19th April 2026, the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ogun West Senatorial District, held a strategic stakeholders’ meeting with the party’s consensus candidate, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, CON, FCA.
The meeting brought together key stakeholders from across the five local government areas of Ogun West Senatorial District to deliberate and strategize on strengthening support for the party’s candidate ahead of the forthcoming elections.
During the engagement, stakeholders reflected on the district’s long-standing quest, spanning over 50 years, to produce a Governor of Ogun State. They noted that this aspiration has remained unrealized largely due to disunity among political actors in the past. However, a renewed sense of unity and collective purpose was emphasized as a pathway to achieving this long-desired goal.
The stakeholders expressed deep appreciation to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his continued support for the district. They also commended the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, CON, for his leadership and for endorsing and announcing the consensus candidacy.
Furthermore, all aspirants from Ogun West Senatorial District were specially appreciated for demonstrating political maturity, unity, and sportsmanship by rallying behind Senator Adeola. Their collective decision to speak with one voice and present a united front was described as a significant step toward securing victory for the APC and advancing the political interests of Ogun West.
The meeting concluded with a strong commitment from stakeholders to work together in unity to ensure the success of the APC and its candidate in the upcoming elections.
