So I saw this post where one woman was seeking for advice on where to wed .
She said that her husband's family are dragging her to wed in their church while her own family (bride) are dragging her to wed in their own church because her dad is a Rev in Assemblies of God church.
While the groom is from Methodist church.

Let me tell you something your parents don't have any right to interfer in your matrimonial bliss abi wetin Dem dey call am.
The couple should decide by themselves.

The grooms family making it mandatory that they must wed in their own church and the brides father saying they must wed in his own church so that he can retain his position. Is a no no for me, you can't tell us what to do and if I see that my father's position is so important my in-laws has to understand, I mean wedding last only for a day after that we can live our life.

Parents shouldn't mingle with their children's happiness especially all those stubborn inlaws. This is a red flag😣

How I pierced my ear, well let's just say it was an experience. So when I was fourteen I did something, I'm not sure if I enjoyed it, but it was definitely memorable.

I've always been fascinated by fancy earrings on people's ears, I admired them, I wanted mine, but I didn't know how to get it. So one day a voice whispered into my ears, that I should use a needle to poke a hole in my ear, that it would open.

I was skeptical, but I decided to try it, so I bought a needle, a full stop, and a pack of ice. Putting the needle on my ear was a big task, I tried to close my eyes and imagine all the fantasies I had dreamed of while wearing earrings. I tried to picture myself wearing all those big, fancy earrings, but my mind was still in trouble, imagining giving myself an injection, you know how it feels.

It took me three days to finally gather moral and open it, on that day I thought I would feel pain, but I didn't, I tried to pinch myself to check if I was still alive because I couldn't feel anything. Thankfully I was okay, no bleedng, I was perfectly okay. After that day, I couldn't imagine piercing myself again. How were you pierced?

I had a restless night's sleep due to a disturbing story shared by my brother-in-law. He told me that some individuals roam at night, looking for phones to steal, and the alarming part is that they can follow through window nets and use a long packer to take the phone. He warned me not to keep my phone near the window or sleep with it. I am now worried that if I don't heed this warning, I risk losing my phone. It's surprising that people would give up their valuable nighttime rest to focus on stealing phones.

I lay a mat on the floor, told them all to sleep but guess what.
They asked me "Aunty but you are not sleeping na, see bobo is opening his eyes even yours is open and you are pressing your phone".

At that moment I freezed😣how I go tell them to sleep when I am not leading by example.

Chai I was so ashamed but I had to put on my tough face😂and force them to sleep.
