Mr. Fred’s best friend called him one afternoon. 📞

“Hello, good day, my dear friend!”

“Hello! How are you, Fred?” 😊

“I’m good, old pal. I actually called to inform you that my son, Rahim, just returned from Switzerland 🇨🇭✈️, and he’s going to be staying here for a while.”

“Oh, that’s wonderful news!” Mr. Fred replied happily. 😄

“Yes, and I would like us to meet and have a little family hangout. It has been a while since our families spent time together.” 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦❤️

“Okay, that sounds interesting! When will that be?” Fred asked.

“I’ll be free this weekend, so if it’s convenient for you and Celine, we can meet then.” 🍽️🥂

“Okay, very well. I think that will be fine. I’ll inform my daughter, and we’ll make plans,” Mr. Fred replied.

The following day, Mr. Fred told Celine about the family outing. 😊

“Celine, my good friend wants us to have a family date this weekend. His son has just returned from Switzerland, and they would like us to spend some time together.” 🇨🇭✨

Celine smiled. “Okay, Dad. That sounds nice.” ❤️

But Mr. Fred suddenly gave her a playful look. 😂

“Who knows? It might even be the perfect opportunity for you and Rahim to bond and find out if you have any interest in each other.” 😏❤️

Celine laughed and shook her head.

“Please, Dad, we’re only going there to have lunch!” 😂🙈

A few days later, Celine finally made up her mind. ✈️🌍 She wanted to travel abroad to London to work and also further her education. 🎓🇬🇧

Later that evening, she called her father for a serious discussion. 👨‍👧❤️

“Dad, I’ve finally made up my mind about where I want to go,” Celine said.

Her father smiled. 😊

“Brilliant, my daughter! 👏🏽 So, where have you chosen?”

“I want to go to London 🇬🇧 to further my education and also work. I believe I’ll find a good job over there and build a better future for myself.” 🎓💼✨

Her father nodded with a smile.

“Okay, great, my daughter. I think I like that idea. I’ve been to London myself a couple of times, and I believe it will be a perfect place for you. 🇬🇧❤️ So, we’ll start making plans immediately.”

He paused for a moment before adding:

“I’ll also have to contact some of my friends at the embassy. They should be able to guide us through the process and make everything easier for you.” 📞📄✈️

Celine’s face lit up with excitement. 😍🥹 She smiled and hugged her father tightly.

“Thank you so much, Dad! ❤️ You’re the best dad ever! I really appreciate everything you do for me.” 🥰👨‍👧

But behind her father’s smile was a little worry. 😔

He had lost his beloved wife many years ago, and Celine was the only precious memory he had left of her. 💔🥺 She was his only child, his pride, and the centre of his world. ❤️

Celine had also always taken very good care of him, and the thought of her leaving the country made his heart heavy. 😢💔

Staying alone in his huge mansion would certainly be challenging. 🏠😔 The house would suddenly feel empty without his daughter running around, talking to him, and keeping him company.

Celine was a 23-year-old girl who had grown up with her father after losing her mother at birth. 💔👩🏾

Her father, Mr. Fred, had taken very good care of her throughout the years. ❤️ He was both her father and her closest companion, and the two of them shared an amazing bond. 🥰👨🏾‍👧🏾

One day, Mr. Fred called his daughter. 👨🏾‍🦳

“Celine, you are a grown woman now. 👩🏾 You have reached the age where I think it is time for you to explore life somewhere else. 🌍

“I want you to challenge yourself, work even harder, build a career, and hopefully find yourself a good husband. ❤️💍

“You have been living here and taking care of me since you became an adult, and I truly appreciate everything you have done for me. 🙏🏾❤️

“But I still believe you need to experience life outside this place. 🌍✨

“So, I want you to choose somewhere you would like to go, and I will sponsor you to move there and start a new life and career. 💼🏙️

“I am an old man now, but I can still take good care of myself. 👴🏾❤️ What I want is for you to be happy, discover yourself, and hopefully find yourself a good man.” 💕💍

Celine immediately shook her head. 😟

“No, Papa. I am okay here with you. 🥺❤️ I am not complaining. I work and make a little money, and I am able to take care of myself.” 💼💰

Mr. Fred smiled and shook his head. 😊

“I insist, my daughter. 👨🏾‍🦳❤️

“When I was growing up, I lived in the village for many years. 🌳🏠 But one day, I met one of my classmates from secondary school. 👨🏾‍🤝‍👨🏾

“He encouraged me to come with him to the city, and that was how I was able to make a way for myself. 🏙️💪🏾

“I worked hard, changed the situation at home, and built a better life for myself and my family. 🙏🏾✨

“So, my daughter, I want you to do the same. ❤️ I want you to leave your comfort zone, experience life, and unlock your full potential.” 🔓🌟

So the king 👑, his subjects 🛡️, and the visitors 🧑‍💼 all made their way to Amaka’s father’s house. 🚶🏽‍♂️🏡

On arrival, Amaka’s mother respectfully informed them that her husband was seriously ill and lying inside the house. 😢🙏

The king 👑 and the visitors then went inside to sympathise with him. 🤝💙

They saw Mr. Johnson, Amaka’s father, lying on his bed, paralysed and unable to speak or do anything for himself. 😭🛏️

The sight broke everyone’s heart. 💔😔

The king then promised the family that he would personally ensure Mr. Johnson was taken to the city for proper medical treatment until he fully recovered. 🏥🙏

Overwhelmed with gratitude, Amaka and her mother burst into tears as they thanked the king for his kindness. 🥹❤️

After a while, everyone stepped outside to inspect the compound and carefully examine the mineral deposit discovered on the land. 🛢️🔍

Following several examinations and tests, the visitors confirmed that it was indeed crude oil and that the deposit was found in a very large commercial quantity. 😲🛢️💰

The news filled the entire community with excitement and joy. 🥳🎉

The visitors reached an agreement with the king and Mr. Johnson’s family on a date to return and begin proper negotiations for the contract. 🤝📄

From that day on, everything changed for Mr. Johnson, his family, and the entire community. 🌟🏘️

The family that once struggled to survive had finally found hope, while the village looked forward to a brighter future. 🙌✨

IT OVERFLOWED SHE COULDN’T HELP IT 😬💦 PART 17

The next day, at about noon, the visitors arrived in the village and asked for directions to Mr. Monday’s house.

When they got there, they met him, and he quickly sent one of his sons to call Amaka’s mother so they could all go to see the king together.

Mr. Monday: “Welcome, my visitors. It’s good to have you here. Please, come in and have a seat. I have already sent one of my sons to bring my brother’s wife, whose compound is where the mineral deposit was discovered. However, we must first seek the king’s approval as the paramount ruler before we proceed with anything.”

Visitors: “Okay, that’s perfectly alright.”

Not long after, Amaka’s mother arrived, and together they all headed to the king’s palace.

When they arrived, they bowed respectfully before the king, and he warmly welcomed them.

King: “You are all welcome, my guests. It is a pleasure to have you in my palace.”

He continued,

King: “I have been informed that you are here to inspect a compound in this community where a strange mineral deposit was recently discovered, although its true nature has not yet been confirmed.”

Visitors: “Yes, Your Majesty. We are honored by your warm reception. With your permission, we would like to proceed to the site and carry out the inspection.”

King: “Very well. You have my permission. Let us proceed.”

With the king’s approval, they all set out for Amaka’s father’s house, eager to uncover the truth behind the mysterious discovery.
