P-SQUARE FAMILY DRAMA: ELDER BROTHER BREAKS HIS SILENCE 👀💔

“We are eight children — six boys and two girls. Jude has made all of us turn against each other.

I watch P-Square’s videos, but I cannot judge what happened because I was not there.
They promised me 20%, but I never received it. I even told Jude that he was not there when we started the music, yet he later chased everyone away.

When Jude wanted to manage P-Square, our mother refused because she knew his character. But the whole family begged her to allow him.

I would be happy if Peter and Paul came back together, but I don’t know if that is still possible because Jude has already scattered everything.

Paul used to be the nicest person in our family, but suddenly, he changed. I don’t know what happened to him.

Jude is my brother, but I believe he is not a good person. For two years now, I have not spoken to him.

When Peter’s father-in-law, Lola’s father, died, I was the only one who travelled to Lagos.
I met everyone and asked Peter, ‘What is really going on? You people shared everything and left me in Jos, even though I was the one that started sponsoring P-Square’s music.’

Peter told me to meet Jude because he was the one holding my money.
I later met Paul, but he refused to listen to me and said only Jude could speak to him.
I was shocked.” 😳

He also said their youngest sister, the last born I think, is in Lagos suffering, non of the brothers help her!

— Henry Okoye, P-Square’s elder brother, speaking amid the ongoing family dispute. 👀💔
What do you think about his claims?

If you want to know the real story of how Psquare started, don't argue—just listen to their old song titled "STORY (Uncle Please Tell Us a Story)."

Listen carefully to these lyrics:
"12years ago when we started dancing imitating Michael Jackson, they use to call us Paul and Peter... but we realised that psquare better. In the year 2001 was a blessing and a lesson that shows that we are progressing, in the year 2002 Timbuk2 came to our rescue, and in the year 2003 for everywhere na our Tapes and CDs , e never finish... we go tour go round, tour South Africa. From one confrontation to another, our mama use to tell us not to bother cus we the play , we the sing , we the dance for the same shows. All those people wey dey play our songs, all those people wey dey write about us.. we love you... we wana thank you. Universities, societies, Companies, All radio stations, all TV stations, journalists, To our friends in Nigeria, those in South Africa, those in America, all over the world, to our fellow musicians, MCs and DJs Thank you, our father in heaven thank you."

From these lyrics, it's clear that Peter and Paul were already building the Psquare brand through years of hard work, dancing, singing, performing at shows, releasing tapes and CDs, and even touring South Africa before Jude Okoye became their manager in 2005.

The song itself mentions their journey, their struggles, and even acknowledges the people who helped them along the way, including their early managers. Their success didn't begin in 2005—it was the result of years of hustle, consistency, and talent.

History is history. Everyone who contributed to their journey deserves credit, but from Psquare's own words years ago, their rise started long before Jude became their manager. The foundation of Psquare was laid by Peter and Paul through relentless hard work and determination from the very beginning.

Sheikh Gumi Asks Why Government Won't Talk With Boko Haram and Bandits

Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has questioned why the Nigerian government refuses to hold peace talks with Boko Haram terrorists and bandits.

He said the government once negotiated with Niger Delta militants, so he believes dialogue should also be considered to help end the insecurity in parts of the country.

According to Gumi, talking with armed groups and helping those who surrender return to normal life could help bring lasting peace. He also insisted that his comments are meant to promote peace and should not be seen as support for terrorists or bandits.
