I saw how much money there was in the music industry, and I wanted my siblings to live that life too because we were all into music from childhood. I did my best to connect them to the big producers I worked with and big artists like Wizkid and Burna Boy, who co-signed me. Right now, I’m making money from my music, my elder brother is doing his own thing, and even my little brother, Ozama Pluto, has just dropped his debut single after finishing secondary school. “After I left Dapper, I won’t lie — it felt like the whole world went quiet. Everything I had worked for suddenly looked like it was falling apart. I was scared.

I started reaching out to people. I sent messages, DMs, voice notes — even to names I once thought were too big to respond. I reached out to Burna Boy. I reached out to Wizkid.

When he heard Laho, he looked at me and said, “This song is crazy. I want to be on it.” We recorded it together, and I was buzzing — I felt alive again. But then he told me, “Don’t release it yet. Just wait.”

Days later, I got another call. It was Burna again. This time he said, “Let’s go to France.”

He sorted the jet. He sorted the hotel. I didn’t even know what to expect. But that’s how I ended up on a massive stage, performing in front of over 100,000 people.
