Kanye’s 12-year-old daughter, North West, raises concern over her new look

Kim Kardashian’s 12-year-old daughter, North West, has once again stirred conversation with her latest TikTok appearance — this time showing off a strikingly adult look featuring fake face tattoos, a nose ring, grillz, and blue braids.

In several videos shared on the account she co-runs with her mother, North sported bright blue contacts, black grillz, and f+ke ink designs across her face, including a star under her eye and a script word on her cheek. “F+ke p%ercings and f+ke tatts for life,” she captioned one clip.

North completed the edgy look with oversized streetwear, chunky sneakers, and layers of silver jewelry, joined by friends dressed in similar styles as they lip-synced to popular sounds and hung out on a private jet and backstage at a concert.

Although comments were turned off on TikTok, reposts on Instagram quickly drew backlash. Many fans criticized the look as too mature for a pre-teen. “She’s 12 years old… this isn’t cute,” one wrote.

Another added, “She can have her own style, but this is just too grown.” Others questioned Kim’s parenting, with one comment reading, “What in the Kanye West is happening?”

The controversy comes shortly after Kim, 44, admitted on the Call Her Daddy podcast that she’s “still learning” as a mom and sometimes regrets letting North experiment too freely. She acknowledged past criticism — like dressing North in a corset in Rome — as part of that learning curve.

Still, Kim defended her daughter’s creativity, saying, “If she wants blue hair, it makes her happy. I’d never take that creativity away from her.”

Known for her bold fashion sense, North has been increasingly making headlines for her unique style — and this latest look may be her most daring yet.
