MUMS, BEFORE YOU CALL YOUR CHILD STUBBORN, PAUSE A LITTLE. ❤️

Sometimes your child says “NO” and the first thing that comes to your mind is:

“Ah! This child is becoming stubborn o!” 😂

But honestly, not every “no” is disrespect.

Sometimes they are tired.

Sometimes they're upset.

Sometimes they simply want to have a say in something.

Of course, that doesn't mean we should allow bad behaviour. We still have to set boundaries.

But we can correct our children without making everything a shouting match.

Instead of:

❌ “You never listen to me!”

Try:

❤️ “I know you don't want to do it, but it still needs to be done. Tell me why you're upset.”

Sometimes, the way we correct a child can make a big difference.

Being firm doesn't mean being harsh.

I'm learning this too, because motherhood will humble you. 😂❤️

MUMS, OUR CHILDREN DON'T NEED A PERFECT MOTHER. ❤️

Let me be honest with you, motherhood can be hard.

Sometimes you have everything under control, and other days you're just trying your best to get through the day. 😅

There are days you lose your patience.

There are days you say something and later wish you had handled it differently.

But that doesn't make you a bad mother.

Our children don't need us to be perfect. They need us to love them, listen to them, correct them when necessary and be willing to admit when we're wrong.

I'm still learning too. I don't have everything figured out, and I believe that's okay.

We're all learning this motherhood thing one day at a time. ❤️

🛑 SOME THINGS ARE STILL STANDING BECAUSE OF GOD'S GRACE. 🙏❤️

This old picture of me and my husband makes me grateful.

Because marriage isn't just about the beautiful pictures.

Behind every beautiful picture are conversations, sacrifices, forgiveness, prayers, patience, and moments when two people had to choose to keep building.

And through it all, God gives grace.

📖 “My grace is sufficient for thee.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

Never take God's grace for granted.

The fact that you're still standing today means God has carried you through things you once thought you wouldn't survive.

May His grace continue to carry every home represented here. Amen. ❤️🙏
