“The moment his mother opened the gate… something entered behind him.”

EPISODE 3: BREAD OF SACRIFICE

The gate opened slowly.

Creeeeeeak.

Rain poured heavily behind Tunde as he stood there shaking, soaked from head to toe, clutching the black nylon tightly against his chest.

His mother stared at him.

But not for long.

Because the moment she looked past his shoulder…

her face changed.

Fear.

Real fear.

The kind that enters a person before they even understand what they’re seeing.

“Tunde…” she whispered slowly.

“Don’t move.”

Tunde frowned.

“Mama—”

“DON’T MOVE!”

Her voice cracked through the rain like thunder.

For the first time since childhood…

Tunde obeyed immediately.

His mother’s eyes remained fixed behind him.

Not blinking.

Not moving.

Like she was watching something standing directly at his back.

Then slowly…

she began praying under her breath.

“Blood of Jesus…”

Tunde’s heartbeat rose instantly.

The rain suddenly became colder.

Then he heard it.

Breathing.

Right behind him.

Heavy.

Wet.

Slow.

Tunde’s fingers tightened around the nylon.

“Mama…”

Tears entered her eyes immediately.

“Don’t turn around.”

But fear is dangerous.

The more you tell a man not to look…

the more his body wants to see.

Slowly…

Tunde turned.

Nothing was there.

Only darkness.

Rain.

Empty street.

He exhaled sharply.

Then lightning flashed.

And for one second—

ONE SECOND—

he saw it.

A tall black figure standing beside the gate.

No face.

No eyes.

Just darkness shaped like a human being.

Tunde screamed and stumbled backward.

The black nylon dropped into muddy water.

Immediately—

all the lights in the compound exploded.

GBAM!

Darkness swallowed everything.

His mother grabbed him violently.

“Inside! NOW!”

They ran into the house as thunder shook the roof.

The moment the door slammed shut—

BANG.

Something hit the front door from outside.

Both of them froze.

Another hit.

BANG!

The windows vibrated.

The framed family picture fell from the wall and shattered.

Tunde’s breathing became uncontrollable.

“Mama what is happening?!”

His mother slowly looked toward the black nylon lying on the floor.

Water dripped from it.

But something else dripped too.

Dark liquid.

Thick.

Black.

Moving slowly across the tiles by itself.

Tunde stepped backward instantly.

“Mama…”

Then the nylon moved.

By itself.

His mother screamed prayer immediately.

The room temperature dropped.

The fan stopped turning.

And from inside the nylon—

something started laughing.

A low dry laugh.

Like a voice that had not spoken in hundreds of years.

Tunde began crying.

“I didn’t know… Mama I swear I didn’t know…”

Then suddenly—

the bread inside the nylon moved.

Something underneath it was breathing.

Rising.

Falling.

Rising.

Falling.

His mother grabbed her Bible tightly.

Then the voice finally spoke.

From inside the nylon.

“You brought me home.”

Silence.

Even the rain outside stopped.

Then slowly…

the nylon began opening itself.

Good morning ❤️

One day, your life will no longer feel like survival.

You’ll wake up without fear.
Without pressure.
Without pretending to be okay.

So don’t give up during the hard part of your story

The version of you you’re praying for is still being built.

If a loaf of bread could make your family rich overnight…
Would you let your mother eat it?

Because Tunde is standing outside his mother's house right now…
Holding bread that came from a shrine.
And something followed him home.

EPISODE 2: BREAD OF SACRIFICE

Some decisions don't just cost you.
They follow you home.

Tunde stepped out of that shrine and into the rain believing the worst was over.

He was wrong.

The hardest part was just beginning to walk behind him.

Kelechi's car was still running when Tunde reached it.

He pulled the handle.
Locked.

He knocked on the window.

"Kelechi open the door."

Nothing.

"Kelechi—"

The window came down slightly.

"You can't enter this car."

"Stop joking abeg."

"I'm not joking Tunde."

Kelechi's voice had changed.
Flat.
Cold.
Afraid.

"Whatever is following you out of that shrine… it's no longer human."

Then he drove away.

And Tunde was left alone in the middle of a forest road at midnight…
Rain soaking through his clothes…
Holding bread wrapped in black nylon.

He walked for almost an hour before he found a bus stop.

An old woman selling oranges looked at him.
Then looked at the bread.

Her face changed immediately.

"Young man… where did you carry that thing from?"

"It's just bread, ma."

She moved away slowly.

"No bread smells like death."

Three people at the bus stop stopped talking instantly.

Nobody looked at him again.

Tunde entered a danfo.
Sat near the back.
Held the bread tightly on his lap.

Everything was normal…

Until a little boy sitting in front turned slowly and stared directly at him.

Children see things adults pretend not to see.

"Mummy…" the boy whispered.

"Face front."

"But mummy… the black man behind him is smiling."

The entire bus went silent.

"Driver stop this bus!"

"Nobody is coming down!" the driver shouted. "We must pray first!"

Tunde did not turn around.

He was too afraid to see what was standing behind him.

When he finally reached his street…
The lights started going off one after another.

One.
Then the next.
Then the next.

Like something in the darkness was swallowing the light ahead of him.

Until only one window remained.

His mother's.

And from inside…
He heard her praying.

Not normal prayer.

The kind of prayer a mother prays when danger is close and she can feel it in her spirit.

"Whatever is following my son…
You will not enter this house."

Tunde froze in the rain.

Bread in his hands.
Tears mixing with rainwater.

"Mama…" he whispered softly.
"Just eat it… please…"

But something behind him still stood in the darkness.

Waiting.

Watching.

Patient.

Midnight is now twelve minutes away.

And the bread is still in his hands.

Before you scroll…

Be honest.

You would still let her eat it for the money
You would NEVER risk your mother
