If you were to be a donor, would not request for the beneficiaries to show what they used the resources for at the end of the day?

Transparency and record-keeping are important for NGOs to continue to receive funding.

In addition to, to prove your accountability and management, you need to convince your donors that the resources are reaching the people who need them most, and evidence of measurable impact.

When an NGO relies on "gut feeling" instead of data, two things happen:

1. You risk helping the wrong people

2. You waste limited funding. Data analysts bring rigor to the process, ensuring every Naira and every hour is invested with the highest possible return on social good.

It's time to demand evidence-based charity.

Do you think donors ask enough about an NGO’s data or impact reports?

So well, yea. I feel for my a**s too. 😢🀣

Consistency must be the hardest thing ever, it is so hard.

Grease and power to the elbows of the ones that keep showing up.

I am rooting for you and I.

I can't help, but wonder what the hardest part of data analysis is.

Experts, is it the cleaning, collection, or the actual usage?

Though they are all part of the process, I believe that everything is stressful.

Did you know there are over 191,000 registered NGOs in Nigeria? πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

This shows the commitment of many well-willing Nigerians to impact.

Why is this important?

Filling the Gaps: NGOs provide essential services; from healthcare and education in remote areas to emergency relief and human rights advocacy, which supplement gov's work.

Driving Policy: They are the voices holding power accountable and pushing for laws on everything from disability rights to environmental protection. Examples are Ecodoctr, JONAPWD, DWAI.

Innovation & Trust: Local NGOs, in particular, often have the deepest trust and most tailored, effective solutions for their communities.

However, I have seen that many NGOs obtain funding and don't conduct research or analysis.

For this vast network to achieve its true potential, we must embrace data analysis.

As a Data Analyst, I know the difference a little data can make.

Identifying a problem, the real communities in need, advocating with evidence and informing decision making all start with proper research and analysis.

Your donors will trust you as you provide key performance metrics from analysis, as this shows passion to do good while being transparent and accountable.

In essence, you can't ignore the relevance of grassroot research and data-analysis.

A random online stranger: Making money is masculine.

Me: Indeed. Foolish cow. After sweating 4 years in uni, volunteering everywhere and consistently showing up, somebody will now tell me making money is not feminine, that person is obviously not correct in the head.

πŸ“I have seen where someone online , cooking and she said she would throw the Meat stock she got from her boiled meat out because it has Oil that she heard the oil is not healthy to consume. She went ahead to fry the same meat in " Oxidised " vegetable oil and that was one of the moment I started to truly appreciate the importance of being Educated as a Chemist and Nutrition.

πŸ“I have seen people remove all the fat on their meat and chicken even skins claiming it's unhealthy that it will clog arteries.

πŸ“Here is my chicken Stock in all its glory...look at the Oil like gold!! This is from 3 whole chickens and I used this to make The jollof rice and stew base for the Peppered chicken and I still left over. I take time to build my Stock recipe because I know its the magic for all of my cooking.

πŸ“How a processed food can be rated higher than processed one is the number way to actually fail in our health. Yes, natural doesn't always mean better especially plants due to their Defence mechanisms that could harm you if you didn't learn how to use them.

πŸ“But for anyone to convince you that the follow come Fat , naturally occuring fat on animal source of food should be ditched for Processed oils should be illegal and should attract punishment. That doesn't mean we can not eat Vegetable oils too, But to place it above Animal fat is a crime against Nutrition.

β™₯️So do you use your stock ? Are you also scared to use chicken and meat oil?? πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡
