Why are lunatics recruited into the Amotekun Agency? The Community divellers of Ladigbolu community Oyo, Oyo West witnessed a display of madness by two operatives of the Amotekun Agency in Oyo State. Investigations revealed that one of the actors is a Coordinator of the Oyo East Local Government, While the other one, {a female} is an operative who is from Lagelu but seconded to the Headquarters. At the scene of crime, i.e Lane 6, Ladigbolu residents have been seeing the red Amotekun Van with number 029 moving in and out of the community carrying drinks, plastic coolars and other materials meant for cooking, into the community. The Ifa celebration of the woman IFA priest resident in the community was due on Thursday 20th October, 2022. and the Oyo East Coordinator had taken it upon himself to turn it to that of the Amotekun Agency. The new Camo van of Oyo East was not left out in the preparation as it was used to convey the cow used into the community. At about 5:30pm on the day of the ceremony, the two Oyo East vehicles were parked at the venue of the party as early as 8:00am with operatives from the Oyo East Local Government all dressed in M***I. An Amotekun operative who claimed to be the Zonal Coordinator came to where the 029 van was parked and demanded for the key from the driver. As the driver was submitting the key to the Zonal Coordinator. The "celebrant" i.e. the Oyo East Coordinator, dressed in purple "Agbada" emerged with another Lady who also dressed in purple dress. The two of them were cursing the Zonal Coordinator, who was trying to explain to them that he was acting on the Order of the State Commandant. Then the exhibition of madness started the community residents were treated to a very funny film as both the Oyo East Coordinator and the Lady started assaulting the Zonal Coordinator. At a certain time, the Lady who was identified as an Amotekun from Ibadan started biting the right hand of the Zonal Coordinator. The Zonal Coordinator did not show any sign of anger, but he made sure that he removed the 029 van from the community. At another time, the Lady in purple stayed in front of the Amotekun vehicle saying that the vehicle would not move from that place. Governor Seyi Makinde, please mad and insane individuals like these husband and wife should be removed from the Amotekun Corps. The masses could not believe their eyes when these two operatives started to exhibit insanity of the highest order.
