🚨💭 Real Talk: Ladies, Know Your Worth & Build Your Own Path 💪🏽👑💼❗❗❗

Earlier this week, I went to my regular customer’s shop where I buy food items like curry, rice, oil, etc. 🍚🛒🧴. Two sisters help their mom run the shop, and one of them had just returned from Delta State University 🎓 last Saturday.

We were chatting on Monday, and she shared how expensive things are over there 😩💸. She said even ₦20,000 monthly barely lasts 2 to 3 days 😳. What hit me the most was when she said some girls only survive by dating Yahoo boys💻💰—just to afford basic things.

There’s a growing mindset that a lady can’t survive without a man 😔—especially one with money. They depend on guys for hair 👩🏽‍🦱, phones 📱, clothes 👗, even food 🍽️. And many times, these relationships are toxic.

Some of these guys insult the girls and compare themselves to their fathers 😤. But the girls stay silent because of what they’re receiving 💵. It’s not right.

💥Ladies, you have worth.
You can hustle 🤝🏽, learn a skill 🧵🧑🏽‍🍳, start a business 📦—and God will bless your efforts 🙏🏽. You don't need to trade dignity for comfort.

📖 Bible Verses:

Proverbs 14:23 (NIV) – “All hard work brings a profit 💼, but mere talk leads only to poverty.”
- 2 Thessalonians 3:10 (NIV)– “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.” 🍽️
- Proverbs 31:25 (NIV)– “She is clothed with strength and dignity 💪🏽👗; she can laugh at the days to come.” 😄👑

💡 Advice:
Don’t chase free money. It comes with silent chains. Be a woman of value, purpose, and vision. Rise through grace and hard work. ✨🔥

🚶🏽‍♀️Walk With Purpose – Your Posture Matters! 💪🏽👑

While I was coming back from church last week, I was walking and pressing my phone 📱. Suddenly, I heard someone call my name. I looked up, and it was a guy I knew. He said, “Uh-uh, I saw you walking like a old woman 😅. Why not walk with your chest out, not bending like that?”

I’ve noticed that I have a habit of walking with my back bent, eyes down, like I’m poking the floor. It’s something I often do unconsciously. It gives off a posture of low self-esteem — but truthfully, I don’t see myself as someone with low self-esteem. I’m bold and confident 💯, but my posture doesn’t always reflect that.

The man advised me to straighten up and walk with my chest up — walk confidently 💃🏽. That simple advice reminded me that people are watching. Even your walk speaks before your words.

How you carry yourself matters. You don’t just represent yourself — you represent God, and people should see confidence, grace, and strength in your walk. Your posture can either reflect fear or faith. 👣🔥

📖 Bible Verse – Proverbs 28:1 (NIV):
“The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.”🦁

💡 Advice:
Don’t just walk — walk with purpose. Lift your head, push your chest up, and walk like a child of the King 👑. Let your body language reflect the confidence, identity, and joy you carry in Christ. The world is watching, and God is glorified even in how you carry yourself. ✨

🌟 Little Acts of Kindness Can Light Up a Whole Day

So, with all how my day went, I woke up around 5 o'clock, prayed, and prepared to attend our Workforce Meeting at church. We left around
7:20am, and got to church at 7:47am — it’s a walkable distance. By 8:00am, the meeting began.

We started with prayers 🙏🏽, worship 🎶, and then the Word by our Lead Pastor, Pastor Mavis Oirji, who preached passionately on “Passion for God.” 🔥
He taught us how to serve God with all our heart, how to create a life of service, and how to genuinely love God in our daily walk.

Then we discussed important things like:
- How to be polite to members
- How to welcome people with a smile 😊
- How to talk and relate kindly within our departments.

After the general meeting, we were all asked to head to our designated departments. I'm in the Social Media Department, so I went upstairs for our meeting because of the upcoming “20 Days of Glory” happening this July (and I want you all to be a part of it!).
📍While heading upstairs, I saw a lady struggling to carry a big table. People walked past her, some even blocking her way, but I stopped and asked, “Can I help you?” She smiled and said “Yes, of course.” I helped her, and she said “Thank you.” 💕

Later, as I sat waiting for our meeting to start, the same lady walked to me and said “Thank you for helping me.” Honestly, I had forgotten I even helped. But that moment, that small thank you, made my entire day. 🌈 I felt like I gave a gift and was blessed in return.

If only more people in this world could appreciate simple acts of kindness, the world would be a better place. Appreciation is powerful.

📖 Bible Verse:
"Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God."— Hebrews 13:16

💡 Advice:
Be the reason someone smiles today. 💖
It doesn’t take much to help someone or say thank you, but the impact can last all day—or even a lifetime. Let’s spread kindness wherever we go. 🙌🏽

📝 Reflective Post: "When Hate Clouds Judgment" 🌧️👀

This morning, I witnessed something that really got me thinking. A man, often called the “security chairman” 🔐, was trying to construct a gutter 🕳️ in front of a building. That spot is where people usually sit to enjoy fresh air 🌬️. But his efforts were met with hostility 💢—some residents pushed him and shouted, accusing him of doing what wasn’t his right.

It felt personal, not really about the gutter. Maybe they didn’t like him because of past actions. But when I returned from dropping my brother at school 🎒, I noticed the construction had resumed and the people fighting him were no longer there 🤷🏽‍♀️.

I asked someone watching earlier if the community allowed it, and he said “Of course.” It hit me—they fought, but didn’t stop it. I told my mom, and she explained that the community agreed on the need due to flooding 🌊 from recent rains.

That moment made me reflect 🤔: were they really fighting for what's right, or just acting on hate? I realized—if others are hating someone, it doesn’t mean I should too. The truth is, that gutter needed to be done for everyone’s safety 🛠️.

📖 Scripture:
"Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong."* — Exodus 23:2 ✝️

"Just because everyone is against someone doesn’t mean they’re right 🚫. Choose truth over hate 💯."

✨Living Set Apart in a Blended World | 2 Corinthians 6:17

_"Therefore, come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you."_ – 2 Corinthians 6:17

In a world where blending in feels easier than standing out, God calls us to be different—not weird or judgmental, but *intentional* and *holy*.

💬 Your friends might say,
"Why don’t you party with us anymore?"
"Why are you always quoting scripture?"
"Just this once won’t hurt."

But you know what? Saying *no* to what doesn’t glorify God is saying *yes* to His purpose.

✅ Choosing not to date just anyone.
✅ Not laughing at dirty jokes just to fit in.
✅ Saying no to cultism, bribery, or clout-chasing.
✅ Praying instead of panicking.
✅ Dressing decently even when trends say otherwise.

That’s not pride. That’s *obedience*.

🚨 This is your reminder: it’s okay to be different if it means being closer to God. Don’t compromise your identity for acceptance. Those who walk with God will always walk differently from the crowd.

*Advice*: Be bold. Be light. Be salt. Be separate—not to isolate, but to inspire.

My Hair, My Journey ✨

5 years ago, I made a choice—to embrace my natural hair, to love it, nurture it, and watch it grow. It hasn’t been the easiest journey, but it’s one of the most rewarding. Every strand carries strength. Every curl speaks of patience. Every inch of growth reminds me that with time, care, and confidence, beauty blossoms. 🌱

To anyone on their natural hair journey—keep going. Your crown is worth it. 👑

From Fear to Faith: My Journey 🙏💫

I remember those Sundays during my early teens, around 12 or 13 years old, when we would travel from Ilaro in Ogun State to Lagos State for church services. 🚐🛣️ Every Sunday, without fail, we made that journey to attend services at Global Impact Ministries. ⛪✨

The return trips were often long and filled with the hustle and bustle of Lagos traffic. 🚦🚗 Peering out the car window, I'd watch as massive trailers and trucks passed by, sometimes right beside us. 🚛😟 A thought would creep into my mind:
*"What if this trailer jam person?"😨

That fear gripped me, making me anxious whenever we were close to those large vehicles. 💭💔

But as I grew in my faith and understanding of God's Word, I found solace in 2 Timothy 1:7:
📖 "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." 💪❤️🧠

This verse became a cornerstone for me. 🧱 It reminded me that fear doesn’t come from God. Instead, He grants us strength, love, and a sound mind. 🙌✨

Now, even when a trailer passes closely, I remain calm, knowing that God is with me. 🕊️
I no longer let fear dictate my reactions because I trust in the protection and peace that comes from Him. 🌈✝️💖

We Slept in a Church Toilet… and God Made It a Miracle”🚽🙏🏽✨

I was around 11 or 12 years old when my family—my mom, sister, brother, and I—attended a 3-day conference at KICC (Kingdom Dome) in Maryland around 2016 or 2017. Despite having little money, my mom was determined that we should attend, trusting God to make a way. 🙏🏽💪🏽

On Friday, we joined the service and managed to sleep at my father’s brother’s workplace. But by Saturday night, we had nowhere to stay. 😔 My uncle wasn’t on shift, and we couldn’t return. It was late—past 10PM—and unsafe to be out. My heart broke as we walked around, looking for a place to sleep. 🕙🚶🏽‍♀️🚶🏽‍♂️

We cried. We prayed. 😭🙏🏽
We called our dad. He spoke with the security man at the church. By God’s mercy, the man agreed to let us stay inside the church premises.

Where did we sleep?
🛏️ Not a hotel.
🚪 Not a room.
🚽 We slept on the toilet floor—clean, cold, and humble.

But I knew one thing: God heard our cry.
Even when it didn’t make sense, He made room for us. That was God rewriting our story in the midst of hardship. 🕊️✨

Today, I look back—10 years later—and I’m still in awe.
God is faithful.
He provides.
He cares. 🙌🏽❤️

📖 Scripture Reflection:

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." – Psalm 46:1 [1]

💡 Lessons from My Story:

- 🌟 Even when you're in need, trust that God sees you.
- 🙏🏽 Don’t stop praying—He listens.
- 🤝 One person’s kindness can be God’s answer.
- ❤️ God can use humble places to show His mighty love.

Romans 4:17 (KJV)
"(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were."🤏👏

This verse is referring to *God's faith and power*, especially in the context of *Abraham’s faith*—believing God’s promise even when it seemed impossible.😔😊

Faith isn’t just believing what you see—😉
It’s declaring what God has said, even when it hasn’t shown up yet. 🙏🏽
Like Abraham, I choose to believe in the God “who calls things that be not as though they were.”*
I speak life. I speak hope. I speak what God has promised. 🌟
Faith speaks the future into now!🔥

During my Bible study today, I was struck by Hebrews 3:12—
"Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God." 📖⚠️

This reminded me that many people drift away from God—not because of God Himself, but because of the actions of those who claim to follow Him.
When Christians live contrary to God's word, it can discourage others and push them away from the faith. 😔🚫

But we must remember: our walk with Christ should be based on *God's Word*, not on people. 📘✝️
Don’t follow trends or flawed examples—"
follow Christ". 🙌✨
On the final day, everyone will stand alone before God. 👤⚖️
Carry your own cross and stay rooted in the Word. 🕊️🌱

*🗣️ Word of Advice:*
Don’t let the failures of others shake your faith. Keep your eyes on Jesus. He’s the only perfect example. 💡❤️
