Happy Sunday, friends! 🌞
As we begin this new week, let us remember that wisdom does not end in prayers and spirituality alone. It also extends to how we handle our finances.
Many people assume that before you can speak about financial literacy, you must already be rich and famous. They think you must own a big car, live in a mansion, or display luxury before you can discuss money matters.
But that is far from the truth.
Being financially literate is not about showing off wealth. It is about understanding how money works, learning to manage it properly, and making it grow.
True wealth begins with knowledge, not with possessions. You do not need millions to start. What you truly need is the right mindset, discipline, and a desire to grow financially.
Instead of spending on a lavish lifestyle, it is wiser to pause and ask, “Will this thing I want to buy help me earn more or just take money away from me?”
If it will not bring any financial return, that money is better used for investment.
When you invest, your money begins to work for you. Over time, it grows and starts to produce steady income. From that profit, you can then enjoy comfort without feeling guilty or going broke.
This is the real secret of wealth. It is not about showing off what you have, but about growing what you own quietly and wisely.
Some people also believe that talking about money means you are being worldly or unspiritual. But that idea is wrong.
The truth is, Jesus already paid the price for our salvation. It is now our duty to handle our finances wisely. God never wanted His children to live in lack. He wants us to be fruitful, resourceful, and wise stewards of what He has given us.
While God blesses us spiritually, He expects us to do our part financially. Because faith without financial understanding can still lead to struggle.
Jesus desires abundance for us, not poverty. But that abundance only comes when we combine faith with hard work, prayer with planning, and wisdom with action.
So start where you are. Keep learning, invest wisely, and let your money work for you.
At the end of the day, wealth is not measured by how loud you display it, but by how well you multiply what God has placed in your hands.
Have a beautiful and prosperous Sunday! 💛
