Faith Can Make Men Foolish — But It Makes Them Stand

Faith isn’t always logical. It doesn’t always follow the patterns of reason, and it often dares to believe what the eyes cannot see. To the world, faith can look foolish — like Noah building an ark in the middle of dry land, or Peter stepping out of a boat onto water.

But here’s the mystery: the same faith that looks foolish is the faith that makes men unshakable.

It was faith that kept Abraham hoping against hope.
It was faith that shut the mouths of lions for Daniel.
It was faith that made the woman with the issue of blood press through the crowd.

Faith is not about looking smart to men; it’s about standing firm before God.

So yes, faith may make you look foolish — but it is that very “foolishness” that will make you stand when others fall, walk when others faint, and endure when others quit.

Don’t be afraid to look foolish for the sake of your faith.
Because in the end, faith doesn’t fail — it stands.

The Journey

Life is not a straight line.
It’s a winding road of mountains and valleys, of quiet whispers and loud storms.
It’s not just about the destination — it’s about what happens in between.

The truth is…
The journey changes us.

It humbles us.
It teaches us.
It presses us, stretches us, and sometimes, it even breaks us.

But the breaking is not the end — it's the beginning of becoming.

God never promised the road would be easy, but He promised He would walk with us.
He never said there wouldn’t be storms, but He said, “Peace, be still.”
He never said there wouldn’t be fire, but He said, “When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned.” (Isaiah 43:2)

Every step matters.
Even the slow ones.
Even the backward ones.
Even the ones that feel like you’re going in circles.

Because He is not just found at the end of the road —
He is the God of the journey.

He’s there when you're running.
He’s there when you’re crawling.
He’s there when you’re standing still, unsure of what to do next.

He walks with you.
He waits with you.
He works in you — even when you don’t feel it.

So don’t despise your process.
Don’t compare your path.
Don’t rush what God is building in you.

The journey is not wasted.
The pain is not pointless.
The detour is not a dead end.

God is using everything — the highs, the lows, the delays, and the dreams — to shape your heart, strengthen your faith, and prepare you for where He’s taking you.
Keep walking.
Keep trusting.
Keep surrendering.

Because the journey is sacred.
And with God, even the longest road leads home.

Some time ago,
I became addicted to some ungodly movies —
the kind I knew, deep down, I shouldn’t have been drawn to.

At first, it seemed harmless.
Just a little entertainment…
Just a way to pass time…
But soon, it started to pull me in.

I began to notice something.
I wasn’t focusing like I used to.
I wasn’t growing spiritually.
I wasn’t learning more about God.
The fire I once had… began to fade.

And that’s when I had to pause.

I asked myself:
Why am I drawn to this?
What am I feeding my spirit with?
What is this doing to my soul?

And most importantly…
What is the foundation of this addiction?

Because sometimes, the things we cling to are just symptoms of deeper hunger —
a search for peace, for purpose, for comfort…
that only God can truly satisfy.

So I decided to turn back.
To put my attention where it belongs.
To reset my focus.
To rebuild my spiritual appetite.

And I won’t lie — it hasn’t been easy.
But God is helping me.
Every day, little by little, He is restoring what I lost.
Not just my time, but my heart.

If you’re in that place too —
Addicted, distracted, far from God —
Start by checking the foundation.

Ask yourself:
Is this drawing me closer to God or pulling me away?

The truth is, we become what we consume.
And the more we fill ourselves with His presence,
the less space distractions will have.

God is ready to help.
But take first step.

Joyce reminds us that even when life lets us down, we can shake it off and trust God to re-appoint us with a new vision, a new plan, and a new purpose. In this clip, she prays over everyone dealing with disappointment, asking God to restore hope and renew purpose.

Put your faith in Him today and believe for something good. He has a good plan for your life.

Some time ago, I was in my room, going through a hard time.
I began to cry.
I asked God, “Why now? Why me? Why am I the one going through this?”

But in that moment… I felt peace.
Because I spoke—not just to myself, but to God.

You see, there are moments in life where you must speak up.
You have to call on God.
Not softly. Not passively.
But deeply, from your heart.

Tell Him your pain.
Tell Him your fears.
Cry out to Him.

Yes, it’s okay to cry.
It’s okay to break.
But don’t cry just so others can see your tears.

Cry to God. Cry in Him. Because He hears. And He heals.

> “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
— Psalm 34:18

Brother, you can't have them all.
Sister, you can't have them all.

“There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” — Proverbs 14:12

It’s not by sleeping with them that you’ll know who to choose.
And sister, it’s not by letting him sleep with you that he’ll prove his love.

“Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.” — 1 Corinthians 6:18

Don’t let the devil blind your eyes.
“The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers...” — 2 Corinthians 4:4

Sister, don’t forget—after he sleeps with you, he may go back to his friends laughing, boasting about how he "enjoyed" you.
Brother, after you rise from her bed, do you know what you left behind?
Not your trousers—but your glory.

“Give not your strength to women, nor your ways to that which destroys kings.” — Proverbs 31:3

Sister, wake up.
You are not a dog for anyone to climb on.

“You were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body.” — 1 Corinthians 6:20

Brother, open your eyes.
What you think you’re enjoying… is actually what’s enjoying you.

“For whatever overcomes a person, to that he is enslaved.” — 2 Peter 2:19

Adino.
The man who stood when others fled.
The warrior who faced 800 enemies — and didn’t run.
He fought alone, and he fought to win.

But listen...
Adino wasn’t always mighty.
He was once just a broken man.
Lost. Wounded. Overlooked.

He was one of those who came to David at the Cave of Adullam —
Poor,
Distressed,
Rejected,
Forgotten by the world…

But not forgotten by God.

Because it was in that cave —
Not a throne.
Not a stage.
But a place of pain —
That purpose was born.

Something shifted in Adino.
He stopped seeing himself as defeated,
And began to rise as a warrior.

And I hear the Lord saying to you:

“Yes, you — in that dry place.
You, who feel forgotten.
You, who think your story is over...
I have not left you.
I am with you — in the cave.
I am making you a warrior.”

You may be hustling like an animal,
Fighting battles you don’t even understand,
But listen:

A warrior does not slack.
A warrior does not surrender.
A warrior rises.

So I say:

Rise, oh warrior, rise!

Embrace the battle.
Stand your ground.
Fight in faith.
Because like Adino —
You will win.

There was a man in the watchtower…
And while he was watching, he saw something.

He saw Jehu coming.

“And the watchman reported, saying, ‘I see a company of men coming by the way of the Horonaim.’ … And he said, ‘It is Jehu the son of Nimshi, for he driveth furiously.’”
(2 Kings 9:20)

The watchman recognized Jehu by the way he rode—
He saw his purpose, his passion, and his fire.
He saw that this wasn’t an ordinary ride.
This was a man on assignment.

Now listen—
Just like that watchman, we too are called to stay in the watchtower.
To be awake. To be sensitive. To be discerning.

Because Jehu is coming.
The move of God is coming.
Judgment is coming.
Revival is coming.
Destiny is coming.

But only those who are watching will see it.
Only those who are in the spirit will recognize it.

So I ask you:

Are you in your watchtower?
Are you watching over your life?
Over your thoughts, your actions, your purpose?
Are you praying in the secret place, staying alert, staying sensitive?

Because if you sleep now,
You may not recognize the Jehu God is sending.
You may miss the signal.
You may mistake movement for purpose.

Jehu drove with fire—
But it took a watchman to call it out.
It took a watchman to say, “That’s Jehu. That’s the one God is sending.”

So take your place again.
Get back on the wall.
Pray. Watch. Listen.
Because your Jehu is coming—and you must not miss it.

Today I was at home, I noticed my room was a complete mess—books scattered everywhere. Right then, I knew I had to pack things up and rearrange the space so it could feel peaceful again.
As I was sorting through everything, I came across a note I had written in one of my books—a quote by Joyce Meyer. It said:

“People who go through difficulties face great challenges. He never promised it would be easy, but He did promise to be with us, to fight for us, to strengthen us, and to help us overcome any obstacle.”
The moment I read those words again, something switched inside me.
I had been feeling alone.
But when I saw that quote, I smiled. I laughed. I paused.
Because I realized—that message wasn’t just for then. It was for now.

And I was strengthened by it.

So today, I want to share that strength with you.
Be encouraged. Be strengthened.

You’re on the path to greatness.
Expect challenges—but don’t lose heart.
Be confident. Trust God.
He is with you.
Never give up.
Never give up on your dream.
