LANTERN
🔦🔦🔦🔦🔦🔦🔦🔦🔦🔦🔦🔦🔦
In the olden days, before the gift of electricity, families gathered around the glow of a lantern. That small flame—though simple—was powerful enough to chase away the darkness of the night. It guided travelers through lonely paths, helped students bend over their books to study, and lit up homes where laughter and stories were shared.
The lantern teaches us something profound: you don’t need to be the sun to shine. Even a small light can guide, protect, and inspire. In life, you may feel small compared to the vast challenges around you, but like the lantern, your little effort, your little kindness, your little consistency can brighten someone’s world.
The lantern also reminds us of discipline. It needed oil and care to keep burning—just as your dreams need dedication, patience, and daily effort to stay alive. Without refilling, the lantern goes out; without self-growth, our inner light dims.
So, let the lesson of the lantern live in you: no matter how dark the night, your light matters. Keep it burning. Nurture it. And shine on, because someone out there is depending on your glow to find their way.
