OYOMESI MEDIA ACADEMY CELEBRATES EXCELLENCE AS ACADEMY 2.0 GRADUATES, 3.0 MATRICULATES
Oyomesi Media Academy has celebrated another milestone with the graduation of students from Academy 2.0 and the matriculation of a new set of students into Academy 3.0.
The ceremony, themed “Celebrating Excellence, Inspiring the Future,” brought together dignitaries, management, lecturers, parents, guests and students to celebrate achievement and welcome a new generation of media professionals.
In his welcome address, the Rector of the Academy, Mr. Israel Orodiran, popularly known as The Pathfinder, congratulated the graduating students and urged the new students to remain disciplined, focused and committed to learning. He reaffirmed the academy’s commitment to providing practical, industry-driven training that prepares young people for careers in broadcasting and the wider media industry.
The Guest Lecturer, Dr. Kola Oni, General Manager of Crowther 88.5 FM, delivered a keynote address titled “Training the Next Generation, Skills Every Modern Broadcaster and Media Professional Must Master.” He highlighted storytelling, digital media skills, integrity, creativity, continuous learning, confidence and professionalism as essential qualities for modern media practitioners.
The event featured the matriculation oath, certificate presentation, recognition and appreciation, group photography and networking.
The ceremony further reinforced Oyomesi Media Academy’s vision of producing skilled, ethical and innovative media professionals for Nigeria’s future.
