Whenever VDM makes a video in this particular bedroom or whenever I watch any video, first thing I tend to observe is the environment. Perhaps it’s because I am a professional who naturally pays attention to details: angles, frames, edges, columns, and the overall finishing.

In this case, you can clearly see rough edges where the paint meets the wall, paint spilling over onto the surrounding wall, patchy coverage in certain areas, and a general lack of neatness around the corners. It appears they did not bother to sand the wood properly or even use masking tape to achieve clean, straight lines. These small errors, uneven lines, drips, and rough patches, completely ruin what should have been a simple, tidy job.

Good finishing does not cost much more, it requires care, patience, and respect for the work. A good job has nothing to do with poverty or poor pay, it is about our attitude towards the work we do. Little details like these say a lot about the work habits and mindset of many of our artisans. Funny enough many people overlook such details and accept whatever they are given.
