We focus so much on training women to behave well for marriage but we forget the main character in marriage: the man.

Everyday it’s,
“A woman should be this.”
“A woman should be that.”
But what about the man she’s supposed to marry?

🔹 Teach your sons to respect women the same way we teach girls to respect men.
Respect is not gender-based.

🔹 Teach your sons how to cook and do domestic work.
Not when a girl visits, he’ll start judging her character based on how well she swept his house or washed his clothes.
Some of you have missed potential wives because she didn’t wash your plates when she came visiting.

🔹 Teach your sons basic survival skills.
Let him know how to take care of himself not be waiting for a woman to “save” him.
Was it not the other day I saw a post where a young man said, “I think I need a wife,” just because he was tired of washing his own clothes?
That mindset is broken. Marriage is not a laundry service.

🔹 Teach your sons accountability.
If he does something bad and gets caught, he should face it. No excuses.

🔹 Teach your sons self-control.
Being angry doesn’t mean you must react.
A real man knows when to walk away.

🔹 Teach your sons that a woman is not his property.
Marriage doesn’t make her your slave.

🔹 Teach your sons never to raise a hand on a woman. B£ating her doesn’t make him a man it makes him a c0ward.

🔹 Teach your sons boundaries.
Seeing a woman’s body doesn’t mean touching her without consent.

Some of the things I know now, I had to relearn to learn.
It takes two people to make marriage work, yes
but the bulk of the work lies with the man.
Because how you lead is how your wife will follow.

Let’s create more awareness for raising well-behaved sons.
Stop training only your daughters for marriage. Train your sons too they’ll marry someone’s daughter one day.
