13 Years Old Girl, Peace Chima, Sl@ughtered To D e a th By Ritualists In Rivers State.

In the news, a 13-year-old Miss Peace Chima from Mbah community kidnapped by suspected ritualists and taken to an uncompleted building in Umuolu Okehi where she was kìlled, slãughtered and buried in a shallow grave.

Rivers Mirror learnt that the 13-year-old Miss Peace, went for an errand at Okehi.

Her family are calling on relevant agencies to fish out those responsible for the crime.

You’re a wicked person, delete it” – Davido roasts Samklef for posting video of him, Chioma with twins..

David Adeleke, better known as Davido, slammed music producer/singer Samklef for posting a video of him, his partner Chioma, and their twins.

Earlier this week, news surfaced that Davido and Chioma had given birth to twins. Davido, for his part, has been silent on the matter, leaving netizens to speculate if it is genuine or not.

In a recent development, Samklef took to his Instagram page to dispel netizens’ suspicions by providing a video of the power couple with their twins.

He also congratulated the couple on the birth of their twins.

In his words:

“Oya it’s official congratulations to x double blessings. One boy one girl noni.”

While netizens were excited over the clip, Davido took to the comment section to express disapproval over the post.

He described Samklef as a wicked person, telling him to delete the video immediately.

I was 4 years old when my father left us” – Pere Egbi shares touching childhood

Pere Egbi, a former BBNaija All Stars housemate, discusses his childhood and his father’s constant absence from his life.

In a recent interview with TV and radio personality Hero Daniels, the former US military soldier opened up.

Pere revealed that his father died while he was only four years old, and his sister was only three.

He expressed that his father’s absence had a small impact on him because other male characters in the household took on the role of a father and efficiently filled that position. This is one of the reasons he feels more connected to his mother’s home state of Bayelsa.

“I like to say I’m from Bayelsa State because my mum is from Bayelsa. My dad, however, is from Delta State. My father has never been a part of my life at all.

He left when I was about 4 and my younger sister was 3. He used to live in America before I was born. He came from America and married my mum, and then went back to America. A bunch of things happened, and my parents ended up separating. So, I was raised only practically by my mother.

I’m the first child and the only boy. My mum was the only one who did everything to make sure we had shelter, good education. She paid our school fees from kindergarten to secondary school. And then, I left Nigeria for the United States to do a nursing degree.

But before that, I joined the US military and served for six years. After serving, I came out and started my degree. I grew up in Warri because that was where I was born.”

Nigerian singer, Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, popularly known by his stage name, Patoranking, is all for service to humanity and philanthropy over fame.

In an interview with media personality Adesope on his Afrobeats Podcast, the Girlie O singer noted that his music is for the common man, being that he came from the ghetto himself.

When Adesope asked him how he could keep his head on straight and not get carried away by the perks of stardom, Patoranking responded that he chooses service to humanity over the glitz and glamour, any time any day. For him, stardom comes with responsibilities which one must live up to, adding that the path of service is not one that celebrities often choose.

He said, "I chose a path less travelled like I said earlier, if you're a public figure you're there for two reasons 'glitz and glamour' or 'service to humanity' and I chose service to humanity and it comes with a cost and you have to live up to it you know. You have to live up to it you have to be responsive; it's a responsibility. It's a path less travelled and you might not get noticed but you're doing your thing, the beauty of it is that whenever people look in that direction, you are there."

Going on, he asserted that during his upbringing, there was nobody for him to look up to. Therefore, he became that person for others to look up to and he strives to set the right examples.

"It's not a mistake that I am from the ghetto, when I was growing up we needed someone to look up to because there was no one, and then I became the person, I wanted to be that person. It's a responsibility because you have to make sure that there is peace in your community, and these are things that make me happy as a human," he added.

The entertainer who was born and raised in the Ebute Metta area of Lagos, grew up sharing one room with his parents and five siblings. Since attaining stardom, he has fought to make sure he does not return to the previous life of struggle.

According to Patoranking in July 2017 during an interview with Punch, his humble beginnings inspired him to work even harder. Even in his music, he inspires people that they have what it takes to be successful. Speaking during a podcast hosted by popular Gospel musician, Tim Godfrey, in 2022, he said, "Growing up, I had always known I would make it. Not because there was everything around me, but because that was the only option I had. Coming from the slum, poverty mindset does not give one the opportunity to think far. It was a fight and I won. I told myself I want to become a symbol of hope to other kids living in the slum. I want them to know it is possible for them to be successful.

Patoranking preaches positivity through his music like Heal the World and encourages others through other songs. He also involves himself in community development, and to him, he does not need to publicise his charity because it is between him and God.

International singer Burna Boy does not have access to his Twitter account and is making it clear that if he did, everywhere go scatter on a daily.

Meaning, he would be giving it to everybody gbas gbos on a daily. You do anyhow, you go collect.

Speaking during an interview on Kiss Fresh hosted by Henrie, the singer stated that his management took his Twitter account from him. He then stressed that if he did have access to his account, he'd trend every day because he wouldn't tolerate disrespect from anyone. Burna Boy then asserted that if he was on Twitter the ground would shake consistently.

He said, "If I had access to my account everywhere would be shaking every day. The ground will be elevating based on my feelings and I don't like disrespect on the internet and they always try to disrespect me on the internet. So my management does not let me have access, if not then the ground will elevate. I will spend too much time there, honestly, I will spend a lot of time there."

It was at that point that the City Boys singer noted that he does not like Twitter users on a normal day, and added that he has realised that Nigerian Twitter users are not as bad as he thought. He thought Nigerian Twitter users were feisty up until he came across users from other countries like the US, Kenya and South Africa.

He said, "I don't like people on Twitter, I used to think that it was just Nigerians on Twitter that were just mad then I went to Kenya and saw that it was the same thing. Then I went to South Africa and saw that it was the same thing."

It is an open secret that Burna Boy does not take rubbish from anyone including his fans, much less his critics. So it comes as no surprise that he would have been dishing clapbacks on Twitter if he controlled his account.
