ESSIEN, ENOMFON UMOH: Screened And Cleared For NANS Presidential Election
..A Credible Choice For NANS Presidency

On Sunday, October 15, 2023, Obong Enomfon Umoessien joined other NANS Presidential Aspirants in Abuja, for NANS Presidential Screening, where he was successfully screened and cleared as a presidential candidate for the forthcoming election of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS.

Comrade Umoeesien, a student of department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, University of Uyo, holds a B.Sc in Mathematics from the same University. He is a strong and credible choice for the Presidency of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS). With his extensive experience, sterling leadership acumen and dedication to serving Nigerian students, he is well-suited for the position.

Comrade Umoessien, an indigene of Ikot Ufen, Afahaobong, Abak, in Akwa Ibom State, has a proven track record of advocating for student rights and welfare as he has actively participated in various student organizations and has held leadership positions that have allowed him to champion the interests of Nigerian students. His involvement in student politics has given him a deep understanding of the challenges faced by students across the country.

His commitment to educational advancement is evident through his active engagement in student education campaigns. He strongly believes in providing quality education to all Nigerian students and has consistently worked towards improving access to educational resources and opportunities.

Umoessien possesses excellent leadership qualities that make him an ideal candidate for the position. He has demonstrated exceptional organizational skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups, and a strong commitment to transparency and accountability. These attributes are crucial for leading and representing the interests of Nigerian students effectively.

Maximum respect to super and supra stakeholders here, powers here present I see you. All protocols duely and meticulously observed.

Actually I would like to clear a misconception going on in the unionism of our time.

For the fact that one of us is going for a very revered position should be a major boost of morale for us that we have capacities and people we can call our own.

And one thing expected of us is to prove our Worth whether recognized or not. Obong enomfon is someone I can vouch for in secret and in open without fear nor favour of man.

Within our reach we are supposed to know how we can help him actualize this.

Having done a survey on that office I've come to understand that the office is entitled to a Prado S.U.V, appointments, connections etc.

Let us debunk that fericious mindset that until we see and drink the person dry that's when we can help, it's very disgusting that even after drinking and series of making orders in a bar some people can't do anything about it.

I would plead that all hands should be on deck to actualize this.
