Nwa Nsukka of the 90s and nwa Nsukka of today

Back in the 90s, the name "Nwa Nsukka" and Nwa Abakaliki carried a lot of shame, mockery, and stereotypes. People used those labels to mean timid, naive, or backward. But let’s talk about how things have changed today.

Yes, the old stereotype painted *Nwa Nsukka* as quiet and timid. But instead of getting angry or fighting the insult, they turned it into fuel. They took it as a challenge, a call to rise, learn, grow, and evolve.

And they did exactly that.

They dusted themselves off mentally, academically, socially, and in every other aspect. Today, they stand tall in all sectors, proudly representing with confidence and excellence.

Today they stand proud in every sector, head and shoulders raised high, boldly answering ‘Nwa Nsukka’ anywhere and anytime.

My husband wants me to quit my job and be a full time house wife. I told him to be paying me salary every month,

and it must be a written agreement which he must sign, but he got angry!

Asking if I'm not the one that birth our children, that why should he pay me for carrying out my responsibility. I don't want to be financially incapacitated,

I don't want to be a liability, I don't want to quit my career, I don't also want to loose my marriage because my husband is telling me to choose between my job and our marriage.

I have a promising career, I work with MTN as one of their IT supports. There are a lot of "What Ifs" in my mind right now

He is giving me from now till October to decide!
