How the journey began.

Today, we celebrate 9 solid years of NO giving up on each other even though everything and Everyone seems to.

How the journey started.
It was when we were having our Easter Retreat at the Rivers State College of Health Sciences.
Surprisingly that has been the last retreat we had using that environment.

On the first day of the retreat our state overer then ( Pastor Edison Daminabo) told us to write out only 3 prayer request for the retreat. He assured us that they will be answered.
I wrote mine with marriage as the last prayer point on my list. That's what early sprinter do na.

But second to the last day of the retreat was another story all together.

After the 3rd message for the day which usually is our Bible Teaching moment with our daddy ( PASTOR W F KUMUYI , I felt going to get myself a cup of popcorn because I had perceived the smell when the message was on.

After paying #50 for the popcorn I turned to leave, behold a handsome young man standing beside spoke kindly to him.

Him: hello sister, can you buy me a cup of popcorn?
Me turning to him said: Oh, you can get one and pay with this my #50 then I tried handing him the #50 balance I was holding.
He smiled and said he was joking.

He asked me my name which I told him and also asked him his.
He asked my church branch and I told him told but when he asked where I was from I had to question him.

Me: This one you are asking me all this questions, do you want to give me a job. He laughed and said he has something that is more than a job for me.

Immediately, my mind started racing to and fro concerning what he just said.
But I didn't know why I stayed calm even though he was a stranger to me.
We later exchanged numbers and that was it.

Two weeks later, his branch pastor called me to get other bio details from me and since then my miracle has stayed with me.
One of my answered prayer.
We have been through it all and we will keep going. Every step of the way looks clearer than we first began.

Just a meeting and the journey till death do us part began.
May we keep growing older together in love, become stronger enough to keep weathering the storm and may our wine of sweetness never drop.

Our purpose is just to build a life that will keep showing that God uses the foolish things of this earth to confirm the wise.

Our Toast: It's amazing what the LORD has done for we never saw it on this fashion. What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder.

As we step into this new month, my prayer is simple yet powerful:

🙏 May God make us the people with the best solutions to offer.

In a world filled with challenges, may we not be part of the confusion but part of the answer.
May God bless us with wisdom where others see problems. May He give us ideas where others see limitations. May He position us in places where our gifts, skills, and knowledge will make a difference.

This month:
✅ May your voice carry solutions.
✅ May your hands produce results.
✅ May your mind conceive great ideas.
✅ May your work attract opportunities.
✅ May people seek you because of the value you bring.

Joseph was remembered because he had a solution. Daniel was promoted because he had a solution. Esther was positioned because she carried a solution.

May God announce us in places where our contributions will matter and where our presence will bring positive change.

Let this be the month you stop complaining about problems and start becoming the solution.

🌱 May we be solution providers. 🌱 May we be value creators. 🌱 May we be problem solvers. 🌱 May we be divinely announced through the excellence of our work.

🌿 No matter how life treats you, never plan to bite the finger that once fed you.

Life has a way of changing people, circumstances, and relationships. There may be times when those who once helped you disappoint you, misunderstand you, or are no longer able to support you the way they used to. Yet, gratitude should never be replaced with bitterness.

Never forget the people who stood by you when you were struggling. Never forget the hand that lifted you when you were down. Never forget the door that was opened for you when others closed theirs.

Being grateful does not mean you must accept mistreatment or remain where you are not valued. It simply means you choose to honor the good that was done for you and refuse to repay kindness with hostility.

👉A grateful heart remembers.
👉A wise heart learns.
👉A noble heart appreciates.

As you grow in life, let your success be a testimony of the help you received, not a reason to despise those who once supported you.

🙏 No matter what life throws at you, keep your dignity, preserve your gratitude, and never bite the finger that once fed you.
Because gratitude is not only a virtue. It is a mark of good character.

The reason you have to learn in every phase of life is so that when it gets to your turn, you will do it even better.

Every lesson you learn today is preparing you for an opportunity tomorrow.

The knowledge, skills, experiences, and corrections you receive along the way are not just for the present moment they are equipping you for your own season of leadership, responsibility, and impact.

Don't be in a hurry to skip the learning process.

The student of today becomes the teacher of tomorrow. The follower of today becomes the leader of tomorrow. The observer of today becomes the performer of tomorrow.

👉Learn diligently.
👉 Observe carefully.
👉Practice consistently.
👉Grow intentionally.

When your time comes, don't just repeat what was done before you improve on it.

I gave up on prayer!

Recently, I gave up on prayer not because I don't know how important prayer is but at that point am feeling choky with lots of things.

I felt myself drifting from God because I had divided attention to something by someone.

I have already messed up along the line and presenting myself before God was hard.
I struggled to have my morning devotion. I did but the grace you find before the throne was drying up.

When I come before God I will just find myself saying God please have mercy on me. I know I am wrong but please tamper justice with mercy.

And each time we go for Saturdays morning prayer my pastor will keep repeating this words from the book of Romans 8. "Who is he that condemneth? during prayer sessions.

It was a hard period I must confess.

Then the at Otokpu came and almost the penultimate day I heard this children choir singing from the online presentation.

What happened was that when I got to church I just rested my head to take a nap because of the stress of the day but I was hearing what was going on.

Then not too long I just heard this song from the children "DON'T STOP PRAYING"

The way they sang it, it seems they were talking to me. Of all the songs rendered that day only that song got my head up from the chair, I find myself singing and crying.
I can't remember when last I cried while singing but this song moved everything in me.

That is a powerful lyrics from the owner Matthew West.

And the ministration from the children was awesome.
Since morning I have being playing the song here.

Why am I sharing this?
Sometimes you may not get the comfort you are looking for from the preacher's mouth but listen to music, there is healing in every line of lyrics. But most importantly no matter where you are now, what is going on with you now
Please and please DON'T STOP PRAYING!

Peter said to Jesus 'to whom shall I go, thou hath the word of eternal life.
Stay with Jesus. He is sure to help you through it all.
