This is the day the Lord has made… and we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Today, as we reflect on Good Friday, we remember a journey.
A sacred journey of 40 days… a journey of sacrifice, surrender, discipline, and awakening.
It was not an easy journey.
It was a path marked with fasting, reflection, denial of self, and a drawing closer to God.
A journey that mirrors the very walk of Christ who carried the weight of the cross for our sake.
But today reminds us of something deeper…
That every painful journey in God ends in glory.
The cross was not the end.
The suffering was not in vain.
The silence of that moment was not defeat…
It was preparation for something greater.
And so, for everyone who has walked through their own “40 days”
days of waiting,
days of tears,
days of silent prayers…
Rejoice.
Because the Way Maker has already gone ahead of you.
He has made a way where there seemed to be none.
And who are we not to acknowledge His faithfulness?
Who are we not to lift our voices and say, “Thank You, Lord”?
Even in the pain, He was present.
Even in the silence, He was working.
Even in the darkness, He was preparing your victory.
So today, we rejoice—not because everything is perfect,
but because God is faithful.
Lord, thank You for the journey.
Thank You for the 40 days of transformation, for the lessons, the strength, and the grace that carried us through.
Thank You for the cross, for the sacrifice, and for the love that made a way for us.
Teach us to trust You even when the road is hard.
Help us to see Your hand even in the silent moments.
And as we move into the glory that follows, may our lives reflect Your goodness and Your mercy.
We rejoice today, Lord… because You have made a way.
Amen. 🙏✨
