It was supposed to be a simple beauty upgrade, just a quick lash extension to enhance my look. I had seen many 'before' and 'after' pictures online and thought of doing mine but as soon as she started, i noticed a sharp, stinging sensation in my eyes I mentioned it and she said it's "normal" then she told me to keep my eyes steady by the time she was done, my eyes felt like they were on fire i opened them to blurry vision and my eyes were tearing uncontrollably.

To cut the long story short, I found out the glue had entered both eyes I was lucky enough to wash it out immediately with plenty water. I couldn't see properly for days, I had headache from straining to see it was so terrifying 😔😩. Now I am sharing this story to remind us,Your eyes are precious ,don't risk them for beauty.
Always check that the lash tech is certified, uses proper tools and glue and takes hygiene seriously and if anything feels wrong Speak up or Walk Away.
