THIS INFORMATION CAN HELP SCAMMERS IMPERSONATE YOU!
You may think you're just sharing normal things online.
But scammers are watching.
Your full name.
Your birthday.
Your phone number.
Your workplace.
Your family members.
Your location.
Even the name of your school.
Individually, these things may seem harmless. But when scammers collect enough information about you, they can use it to make fake accounts, impersonate you, or make their messages sound more convincing.

They say they've been arrested, kidnapped, involved in an accident, or lost their phone.
Then another person comes on the line and demands money.
Your heart starts racing.

But DON'T SEND MONEY YET.
Scammers can use AI to create convincing voice recordings from short audio clips found online or elsewhere.

You see a message that says:
“You have won 500k"
Or:
“Your bank account needs verification.”
Or:
“Check who viewed your WhatsApp profile.”
There is a link underneath.
You click it because you are curious.
That one click can take you to a fake website designed to collect information such as your password, login details, card information, or OTP.

Someone calls you and says:
“We are calling from your bank. There is a problem with your account.”
They sound professional. They know your name. They may even mention the last transaction you made.
Then they ask for your OTP, PIN, password, card PIN, or full banking login details.

STOP RIGHT THERE.
Never give those details to someone simply because they claim to be calling from your bank.
