Ladies and gentlemen, anyone trolling Messi doesn't deserve football or perceives it from a limited perspective. December 18, 2022, should have put every troll to rest.
Is there anything else you can ask of Messi? At this point in his illustrious career, having achieved everything, his body is naturally aging. Every opponent should feel honored to share a pitch with Messi. Similarly, every stadium, especially those outside the US, should feel privileged to have him grace their turf and should commemorate his presence.
Dembele seems to have grasped this perfectly and made no mistake tonight, embracing the Messi experience. Messi embodies football. Fans of this beautiful game should lament the passage of each day, knowing that it will all soon be history.
