In 2023, Ganduje failed in Kano State even as a sitting governor, he couldn't deliver kano state to his party, the APC.

Tinubu failed in Lagos State, even as the Presidential candidate and national leader of APC.

Buhari failed in FCT, even as the sitting president.

Hope Uzodinma failed in Imo state, even as the chairman, progressive governor and south east leader of the APC.

So, winning election is not by position but good leadership and people's acceptability to the contestants.
