Udom Gears Up Against Successor
... Mobilizes Head of 2027

By: John Amaowoh,
Akwa Ibom state is always full of surprises and intricacies when it come to it's politics and it's players.

In the state are alot political parties ,above that, are APC, PDP, Young Progressive party and the ADC as the emerging third force likely to springs surprises ahead of 2027.

While 2027 may be still far, there are strong indications that politics across the country is already in tense gear with holy and unholy alliance, realignment and scheming to outplay one another.

As the politics hitsup across the country, the atmospheres some how is signaling a strong carculation and permutations, even as the time is ticking away especially with the people of Akwa Ibom state, following Udom Emmanuel grand style arrival to his home state recently.

The Erstwhile governor who is banker turned politician, step out in a chartered flight, accompanied by Ini Emeobong, who resigned as commissioner for Special Duties and Ibom Deep Sea Port from Governor Umoh Eno's cabinet when the governor defected to the APC.

The Ex-Governor flanked with other bigwigs, wave once again the umbrella party to show off , the party's strong root in the oil rich state.

The visit by the erstwhile governor to his state was the first time since his successor's defection, where he spoke of 'direction for 2027 elections'.

The return of the ex Governor, no doubt signal another strong shift from pundits prediction that the state may likely return to APC, but the recent move by the former Governor may signal a dramatic twist that the PDP still had a strong root in Akwa Ibom state.
