A girl child should never have to miss school, lose confidence, or suffer in silence because of her period. Yet for millions of girls around the world, this is still their reality. 💔🩸
Period poverty continues to deny young girls access to education, dignity, healthcare, confidence, and equal opportunities. Behind every statistic is a girl struggling quietly with shame, fear, and limitation because society has failed to provide one of the most basic human needs — menstrual hygiene support.
In supprr of the PROJECT 5000 of , we believe this must change.
This World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026, through PROJECT 5000 and the TGG Pad The Girl Child Campaign, we are not just distributing sanitary products — we are restoring dignity, protecting dreams, advancing gender equality, and creating sustainable social impact.
Because when a girl has access to menstrual hygiene support: • She stays in school
• She participates confidently
• She protects her health
• She believes in her future
• She is empowered to lead and thrive
This year’s global theme: “Together for a ”
A period should never become a barrier to greatness.
Now more than ever, governments, development organizations, corporate institutions, educators, healthcare stakeholders, and community leaders must work together to end period poverty and create inclusive systems where every girl can thrive with dignity.
Real change happens when advocacy meets action.
At TGG Foundation, we remain committed to building a future where no girl bleeds in shame, where menstrual health conversations are normalized, and where every young girl is given the opportunity to rise without limitation.
The future of the girl child cannot wait.
