JUST IN: Akwa Okuku Tiwaraki na Oba pleads guilty to Okeite, sentenced to 11 months imprisonment.

As the court made the following orders:
1. He will become an Ambassador for youth re-orientation
2. ⁠His oba Shrine to be destroyed
3. ⁠He will no longer practice Okeite and won’t administer such charms.
4. ⁠Upon completion of his imprisonment, he will make public statement denouncing Okeite and such charm practices
5. ⁠He will serve his imprisonment at Awka Correctional Center.

Ohafia Bleeds As Man Kills Girlfriend Over Minor Issue

Tragedy struck yesterday, at Isiugwu Ohafia, in Ohafia LGA, as a man identified as Mr. Edward Okorie killed his girlfriend. According to multiple sources, Miss Sophy Chika, who hails from Ozu Abam in Arochukwu LGA of Abia State, was killed by her boyfriend, Mr. Edward Okorie, an indigene of Isiugwu Ohafia, over a minor misunderstanding that ensued between them.
The lovers, who were cohabiting for over three years now, had a misunderstanding in the early hour of yesterday and she was reportedly beaten to death by Mr Edward Okorie.
