My people, I just want to speak from my heart.
Today has been a heavy day. I am deeply hu.rt, not just because of the news itself, but because of what it says about the value of ordinary lives in this country.
We watched a sys.tem move with full force when it wanted to… yet the same sys.tem struggles to protect innocent children, families, and communities from those who hur.t us every day. And that reality pai.ns me deeply.
This is not about tribe.
This is not about supporting wron..gdoing.
This is about the value of human lives ,ALL lives.
What is happening in our country is bigger than one man. It is about a sys.tem that responds select.ively, a sys.tem that leaves citizens feeling unpro.tected, unheard, and forgotten. And anyone who thinks this can never affect them… I pray you never have to learn otherwise.
Because when it is another person’s body being carried, it is easy for people to feel nothing , it almost looks like a bunch of wood being moved. But when it becomes your own blo.od, your own family, that is when the pa.in becomes real.
My heart is heavy, but it is still hopeful.
Hopeful that one day, we will live in a country where justice is not a privilege, where security is not luck, and where every citizen matters equally.
For now, I just ask that we stay awake.
Let us not pretend.
Let us not allow division to bli.nd us.
Let us speak the truth with courage but also with peace in our hearts.
I pray for safety.
I pray for wisdom.
I pray for a better Nigeria , because we deserve one.
