Na big man food

18/06/2025

I remember when I was in basic school. At the end of every term, we were ranked from first to last based on our academic performance. Everyone wanted to be first—or at least among the top five.

Back then, we believed those positions determined how successful we would be in life. The first position meant you were destined for greatness, while the last was seen as a sign of failure.

At that stage in our lives, success was simply defined by who came first in class.

Parents beamed with pride over their children’s academic achievements. And to be fair, strong academic performance often opens doors—companies prefer high performers, and scholarships are usually reserved for the best students.

But years later, life has shown me that some of those who struggled academically went on to succeed in remarkable ways.

Maybe their mental growth came later, or maybe life gave them a different path to shine.

Don’t get me wrong—excellence should always be your goal in whatever you do. But we must be careful not to assume that someone else’s success means our failure.

Life is shaped by many factors. And while your academic record can matter, it does not define your future. Whatever your results were in school, choose to thrive. You still have the chance to become the best version of yourself.

Everything in your life reflects the choices you’ve made—your habits, your mindset, your surroundings. If the outcome isn’t what you hoped for, don’t blame the world. Shift your choices. Change the pattern. That’s how new results begin.
