Tems Declared She Never Had A Boyfriend Before, Own A Football Club. Guys, Don't Sleep On It!

Grammy Award recipient Temilade Openiyi, widely recognized as Tems, revealed in a recent interview that she has never had a boyfriend throughout her life.

The 29-year-old singer and songwriter shared this information during her appearance on the YouTube program “Is the seat taken,” hosted by media figure Chinasa Anukam.

This announcement follows Tems’ remarkable achievement of winning her second Grammy Award, specifically for Best African Music Performance at the 2025 Grammy Awards, which has brought pride to Nigeria.

While conversing with Chinasa Anukam, Tems mentioned that although she has never had a boyfriend, she does have what she refers to as a “mini boyfriend.” A brief investigation clarified that a mini boyfriend refers to a casual male companion who does not represent a serious commitment.

In another news, MLS side San Diego FC have announced Nigerian music artist Tems as the latest addition to the club’s ownership group through her company The Leading Vibe.
