DEAR GOV AGBU KEFAS (STAR BOY)

May i begin by appreciating God for life and opportunity given to you to serve the good people of Taraba State.

Secondly, may i also use this opportunity to appreciate you for your accommodating spirit and political will in a bit to elevate and promote young people in Taraba.

Over the years, we (Leadtots) have advocated for Youth, Women and PLWDs inclusion in Politics and Governance, we made calls and request for young people to be properly placed in the decision making table.

Upon your assumption of office, you have brought the Youth to the decision making table, this has stand you out as the BEST.

Notwithstanding, you have spread your political tentacles across all areas including people from opposition party into your kitchen cabinet.

Today, I stand to appreciate you for appointing one of your ardent critic Hon Disebe S Bala Donga as Appointee of your administration. This singular gesture has neutralize strong opposition and has silenced many critic. Not just Hon Disebe alone, but the Youth constituency is overwhelmed by your commitment towards supporting Young people in Taraba State.

OCTOBER TO REMEMBER.
I remember a day when my forefathers prayers were answered.
I remember a day when all tears fade away.
I remember a day when the Joy of Motherhood is reassured.
I remember a day when the leaders of the two protectorates set aside their differences.

Many years gone.

Each year comes with its challenges.
We are no longer an independent country.
We are no longer at ease and free to associate and socialize.
We are now living in a ZOO.

The Joy of Motherhood is gone,
The Labour of our Heroes past in now in vain,
We have betrayed our ANCESTORS.
We have chosen Fame and Power than Unity, Peace and Progress.

Until and unless we make a U-turn,

There shall be no PEACE for the wicked,
There shall be no PEACE for the corrupt,
There shall be no PEACE for all killers,
There shall be no PEACE for all leaders involved in crime and corruption.

DEAR GOV DARIUS DICKSON ISHAKU AND PROFESSOR ADO VINCENT TENEBE!

COMBATANT AND FRATERNAL GREETINGS TO YOU BOTH FROM THE ENTIRE STUDENTS OF TARABA STATE UNIVERSITY.

IT IS WITH HEAVINESS AND BITTERNESS THAT I WRITE TO EXPRESS MY DISAPPOINTMENT IN YOUR STYLES OF LEADERSHIP WHICH IS CAUSING HARDSHIP AND FRUSTRATION TO THE STUDENTS OF TARABA STATE UNIVERSITY AND THEIR PARENTS/GUARDIANS AS WELL.

I WEEP AND STRIVE IN PAIN FOR THE LABOR OF OUR FOUNDING FATHERS IS BEING LAID TO WASTE. THE FOUNDATION OF TARABA WAS NEVER FAULTY AND THE RELATIVE PEACE WE'VE ENJOYED AS A STATE CANNOT BE UNDERRATED FOR ANY REASON.

IN 2008,THE TARABA STATE UNIVERSITY WAS ESTABLISHED WITH RULES/LAWS AND DUE APPROVAL OF THE STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY AND THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.

THE SCHOOL HAS WITNESSED TREMENDOUS DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORT FROM THE TETFUND WITH LITTLE OR NO PRESENCE OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT IN MANAGING THE INSTITUTION.

THE LAWS ESTABLISHING THE INSTITUTION WAS SO EXPLICIT ABOUT LAW NO. 4.
THIS LAW STATES CLEARLY HOW THE FUNDING OF THE SCHOOL SHOULD BE. IT CATEGORICALLY STATES HOW THE FUNDING WILL BE WITHOUT ANY HULLABALOO.

DURING MY UNDERGRADUATE DAYS, I WITNESS INTERNAL STRIKE ON MANY OCCASIONS HOPING THAT IT WILL COME TO AN END AND OUR YOUNGER ONES WILL NOT EXPERIENCE OUR ORDEALS BUT IT APPEARS TO ME THAT 'THE WORST IS YET TO COME'.

RECENTLY, THE SCHOOL RESUMED AND ALL OF A SUDDEN, A DEMAND EXTRAORDINARY WAS IMPOSED ON THE STUDENTS TO PAY FOR ANOTHER SEMESTER WHILE STILL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIRST.
REQUESTING THE STUDENTS TO PAY IF THEY HAVE THE MEANS TO, IS TOTALLY ACCEPTABLE. FORCING THEM TO PAY WITH A THREAT OF IMPOSING EXTRA CHARGES OR LATE CHARGES AS THE CASE MIGHT BE IS WHAT I TERMED AS "EXTORTION EXTRAORDINARY".

I THEREFORE WISH TO ASK, WHAT ROLE DOES THE STATE GOVERNMENT PLAY IN SUSTAINING THE INSTITUTION?

WHAT ROLE IS THE MANAGEMENT PLAYING IN RUNNING THE INSTITUTION SMOOTHLY KNOWINGFULLY WELL THAT 90% OF THE STUDENTS HAVE SUCCESFULLY PAID THEIR FIRST SEMESTER FEE.

WHY IS IT THAT THE STATE GOVERNMENT IS SO RELUCTANT ON THE PLIGHT OF THE STUDENTS!
WHEN LAST WAS SCHOLARSHIP PAID IN TARABA STATE?

HAS ANY OF YOU (DDI AND T VALUE) EVER BENEFITTED FROM SCHOLARSHIP AT THE CAUSE OF YOUR STUDIES?

HAS ANY OF YOU PASSED THROUGH WHAT WE ARE PASSING?

HMMMMM!

WHAT SADDENS ME MOST IS THAT ONE DAY, WE SHALL WAKE UP FROM OUR SLEEP AND YOU GUYS WILL BE NO WHERE NEAR TARABA. THE SADDEST THING IS THAT NONE WILL REMEMBER TARABA WITH A QUARTELY VISIT.

I WISH TO REAWAKEN THE SPIRIT OF PATRIOTISM IN ALL STUDENTS OF TARABA STATE UNIVERSITY TO RISE UP AND TAKE THEIR DESTINY INTO THEIR HANDS BY KICKING AGAINST IMPUNITY AND DESPOTISM.

AS WE PLAN ON A SOLUTION, I ENJOIN YOU ALL TO RESIST THE LATE CHARGES AND FOCUS ON YOUR STUDIES.

THEREFORE, I ADVISE YOU TO PAY THE NORMAL SCHOOL FEE IF AND ONLY IF THE PORTAL IS OPEN AND IF CLOSED, KEEP YOUR MONEY IN A SAFE PLEASE WHERE NONE CAN ACCESS IT UNTIL ALL MATTERS ARE RESOLVED.

WITH GOD ON OUR SIDE, WE SHALL BE VICTORIOUS.

*D E E P R E F L E C T I O N!*

When Awolowo was sentenced to Prison, a lot of Progressives were shocked, some died instantly and some became sickly! Some people [Bishops and Statesmen] went to beg the Central Government of Zik and Balewa.

*The Government agreed to free Awolowo, but knowing fully well that Awolowo would not agree, they said his wife HID must come to beg the government and after that, Awolowo would be freed.*

The aim was to put Awolowo wife's pictures begging the government on the front pages of major Newspapers.

*The 'Eminent' men went to meet HID and persuaded her to beg the government. HID thanked them all, but said she could only do that if her husband permitted her, if not, she would not.*

Recall in 1986, similar offer was made to GMB's former wife, but she fell for it, Buhari later divorced her.

*The Eminent men went to meet Awolowo in Prison and begged him to allow his wife beg the government, they cited many verses from the Bible [Read My March through Prisons or Travails of Democracy and the Rule of Law by Chief Obafemi Awolowo].*

Awolowo, in reply, thanked them very well but declined. He said "my wife beg who exactly?

*Will she kneel down or prostrate?*

*Beg for what offence exactly?*

*That I plotted a Coup?*

*That's ridiculous!*

*You're men of God, you should know that God does not encourage people to bow to injustice...."....*

Awolowo allegedly said and I quote

*"I believe I should not be in Prison but here I am, the only Premier that ended up in Prison for no reason. If we are confused about my innocence, let God be the Judge.*
*If truly I did what they accused me of, I will not come out of this Prison alive, but if I am innocent, I will not spend my life here in Prison, I will come out and as the Lord lives, I won't meet any of those who conspired against me alive......*
*Thank you gentlemen for your visit, I wish you journey mercies.... "*

Ⓜ Who is a MAN?

A man is the most beautiful part of God's creation.

He sacrifices his chocolates for his sister.

He sacrifices his dreams for just a smile on his parents' face.

He spends his entire pocket money on buyng gifts for the lady he loves, just to see her smiling.

He sacrifices his full youth for his wife & children by working late at night without any complaint.

He builds their future by taking loans from banks & repaying them for his entire lifetime.

He struggles a lot & still has to bear scolding from his mother, wife and boss.

His life ends up only by compromising for others' happiness.

If he goes out, he's careless.

If he stays at home, he's a lazy.

If he scolds his children, he's a monster.

If he doesn't scold them, he's an irresponsible guy.

If he stops wife from working, then he's an insecure guy.

If he doesn't stop wife from working, then he's somebody who lives on wife's earnings.

If he listens to mom, he's mama's boy.

If he listens to his wife, he's wife's slave.

Respect every male in your life. You will never know what he has sacrificed for you.

Worth sending to every man to make him smile & every woman to make her realize his worth!
