I am a part of this brand JESUS
Compassion, Innovation, Boldness and Intellect.
Thank you Leke Alder
According to Forbes, this is the list of the world's most valuable brands: Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, Coca-Cola, Walt Disney, Samsung, Louis Vuitton and McDonald's. Toyota is ranked No. 11, Nike is No.13.
We buy into brands through their attributes. For example the brand attributes of Apple are minimalist Zen aesthetic, ease of use and creativity. But brands also have personality. Coca-Cola is friendly. Toyota is reliable. Nike encourages.
There's a name missing from the list of top brands. It's the name of Jesus. It's one of the oldest brands in the world and without a doubt the most valuable. It is recognised in three dimensions: on earth, in heaven and hell. We're told, “God exalted him (Jesus) to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name." Another translation says God lifted him high and honored him far beyond anyone or anything. He therefore dominates both the human and product brand categories. He has to be No.1 on that league table.
It's actually a global brand. The brand name "Jesus" has been translated into so many languages. It's globally recognised. The early disciples didn't understand this global direction. They wanted to restrict the brand to Jews. Because they couldn't get it God raised up Paul. Paul took the brand global.
When you think of the brand attributes of Jesus 4 words come to mind: compassion, innovation, boldness and intellect. If you're a follower of Christ you ought to reflect these attributes. It's why we're accorded the brand franchise - "Christ-ian". We see the early disciples demonstrating these attributes. The Pharisees were impressed with the display of intellect by Peter and John for example. They didn't go to university. You can't be a Christian and not be compassionate. If you aren't you misrepresent the brand.
Rate yourself on a scale of 1-10 on those brand attributes. You just might see how Christ-like you are.
