A heartbreaking tragedy has struck Ogale Clan in Eleme Local Government Area, leaving the entire community in deep mourning.
An entire family — the husband, his wife, their children, and a brother-in-law — were found lifeless in their home. They reportedly went to bed on Saturday night, January 10, 2026, full of hope for a new day that never came.
By Sunday morning, January 11, concern began to grow when neighbours noticed that the family’s door remained locked even after 10:00 a.m. Repeated knocks went unanswered. With fear and worry mounting, neighbours forced the door open — only to be met with a devastating sight.
The man and the children were found on the bed, the wife in the bathroom, while the brother-in-law was discovered near the door, as though he had tried desperately to escape or raise an alarm.
The cause of their deaths remains unknown, leaving behind questions, pain, and a community in shock.
This is a sorrow beyond words. A whole family gone, just like that.
