Are you mature enough to read this without getting offended?

6. Everyone wants to win until they understand how many defeats are required.
In a nutshell, protect your own goals, keep healthy boundaries, study your patterns, and understand that worthwhile progress usually comes with difficult choices and repeated setbacks. You definitely cannot control who supports you, envies you, doubts you, or walks away, but you can control how much power their opinions have over your life!
