Episode 22 – The Two Births

Amanda stared at the photograph in her hand.

"This isn't possible."

Vanessa took the second photograph and compared it with hers.

Same date.

Same time.

Different hospitals.

Different doctors.

Different names.

Amanda looked at Dr. Ibrahim.

"You delivered me."

Dr. Ibrahim slowly shook his head.

"No."

Amanda froze.

"I delivered both of you."

Vanessa stepped forward.

"Then why were we in different hospitals?"

Dr. Ibrahim couldn't answer.

---

Their mother suddenly began crying.

"There is something I never told you."

Amanda turned toward her.

"What?"

She wiped her tears.

"When I woke up from the coma..."

"I was told that only one baby survived."

Vanessa's eyes widened.

"Only one?"

Their mother nodded.

"I believed Amanda was the only child I had."

Amanda stared at Vanessa.

"Then how did you know about her?"

Their mother shook her head.

"I didn't."

"I didn't even know Vanessa existed until years later."

---

The room became silent.

Daniel slowly opened another file.

Inside was an old hospital record.

He placed it on the table.

"This is your mother's original medical record."

Amanda read it carefully.

BABY GIRL β€” DELIVERED AT 2:17 A.M.

Then Vanessa picked up another document.

BABY GIRL β€” DELIVERED AT 2:19 A.M.

She looked at Daniel.

"Two minutes apart."

Daniel nodded.

"That's what makes no sense."

---

Suddenly...

Dr. Ibrahim grabbed the documents.

His face changed.

"Wait."

He pointed at the doctor's signature.

"This isn't mine."

Everyone froze.

Amanda looked at him.

"But your name is here."

Dr. Ibrahim shook his head.

"Someone forged my signature."

Vanessa whispered,

"Then who delivered us?"

Before anyone could answer...

Kingsley's phone rang again.

ELENA.

This time, Amanda answered.

"Elena!"

Her voice came through calmly.

"You finally found the first lie."

Amanda clenched her fist.

"What did you do to us?"

Elena laughed softly.

"I didn't do anything."

"I only helped your family hide the truth."

Vanessa shouted,

"Tell us what happened!"

Elena paused.

Then she said,

"Ask your mother why she signed the second birth certificate."

The call ended.

Everyone turned toward their mother.

She immediately shook her head.

"No."

Amanda stepped closer.

"Mom..."

"Did you sign another birth certificate?"

Their mother covered her face.

"I was forced."

---

Daniel stared at her.

"Who forced you?"

She slowly looked up.

"Your grandfather."

Daniel's face went pale.

"My father?"

She nodded.

"He told me one of the babies had to disappear."

Amanda's heart pounded.

"Which baby?"

Their mother began crying.

"I don't know."

"That's the truth."

"I was unconscious when they took her."

---

Vanessa stepped backward.

"So one of us was taken from the hospital..."

"And placed in another hospital."

Dr. Ibrahim nodded slowly.

"That explains the photographs."

Amanda's voice trembled.

"But who took her?"

Nobody answered.

Then Daniel noticed something written on the back of Vanessa's photograph.

He turned it over.

There was a handwritten sentence:

"THIS CHILD MUST NEVER MEET HER SISTER."

Daniel's hands began shaking.

Amanda looked at him.

"Dad..."

"Who wrote that?"

Daniel stared at the handwriting.

"I know this handwriting."

Vanessa's eyes widened.

"Whose?"

Daniel slowly raised his head.

"Your grandfather's."

---

Suddenly, the vault lights went off.

The steel door slammed shut.

CLANG!

Amanda screamed.

"Who's there?"

A voice came through the vault's intercom.

Elena.

"You wanted the truth..."

"Now you're going to get all of it."

A screen on the wall switched on.

A twenty-five-year-old video began playing.

On the screen...

A younger version of their grandfather stood inside the same vault.

Beside him was a young nurse holding a newborn baby.

The old man's voice echoed through the room.

"Take this child away before her mother wakes up."

Amanda covered her mouth.

Vanessa began crying.

Then the video revealed the nurse turning around.

Amanda recognized her immediately.

It was the same nurse who had originally separated the twins.

But there was something shocking in her arms.

She wasn't holding Vanessa.

She was holding Amanda.

END OF EPISODE 22

If the nurse took Amanda instead of Vanessa, then who was the baby left with their motherβ€”and where did Vanessa really come from?

Episode 21 – The Inheritance

The television went black.

Nobody spoke.

Amanda was still holding the phone.

Her hands were shaking.

"She knows everything about us."

Vanessa looked at Daniel.

"What inheritance was our grandfather talking about?"

Daniel took a deep breath.

"Your grandfather owned several properties and companies before he died."

"But there was one asset he valued above everything else."

Amanda frowned.

"What was it?"

Daniel looked at their mother.

She slowly answered.

"The family estate."

---

Vanessa looked confused.

"That's all?"

Their mother shook her head.

"Not just the house."

"The land beneath it."

She opened the old inheritance file.

"Your grandfather discovered that the land contained something extremely valuable."

Amanda leaned closer.

"What?"

Before their mother could answerβ€”

A loud crash came from upstairs.

Everyone froze.

Daniel immediately turned off the lights.

"Someone is inside."

---

They heard footsteps.

Slowly.

One step at a time.

Thud...

Thud...

Thud...

Vanessa whispered,

"Could it be Elena?"

Daniel shook his head.

"No."

He quietly moved toward the staircase.

Amanda grabbed her mother's hand.

Suddenly, a man jumped from behind a curtain.

Daniel tackled him.

The stranger struggled violently.

Vanessa screamed.

"Who are you?"

Daniel finally overpowered him.

He pulled off the man's mask.

Everyone gasped.

It was the family's former accountant, Mr. Kingsley.

Amanda stared at him.

"You?"

Kingsley looked terrified.

"Please..."

"I didn't come to hurt anyone."

---

Daniel grabbed him by the collar.

"Then why were you spying on us?"

Kingsley swallowed hard.

"Because Elena sent me."

Amanda stepped forward.

"What does she want?"

Kingsley looked at the inheritance file.

"She wants the location of the family vault."

Silence.

Vanessa frowned.

"Vault?"

Kingsley nodded.

"Your grandfather didn't keep the inheritance in a bank."

"He hid it."

Amanda asked,

"Where?"

Kingsley looked at the old family portrait.

"Inside this house."

---

Everyone turned toward the portrait.

Daniel slowly removed it from the wall.

Behind it was a small metal panel.

He pressed it.

Nothing happened.

Kingsley stepped forward.

"There's a code."

Daniel looked at him.

"What code?"

Kingsley stared at the twins.

"Your birthdays."

Amanda and Vanessa exchanged glances.

They entered their birth dates together.

BEEP.

The wall suddenly clicked.

A hidden door opened.

Behind it was a narrow staircase leading underground.

Amanda whispered,

"Grandpa hid this beneath the house?"

Daniel nodded.

"Apparently."

---

They descended carefully.

At the bottom was a massive steel door.

On it was an inscription:

THIS FORTUNE BELONGS TO THE CHILDREN OF MY SON.

Vanessa touched the words.

"That's us."

Daniel searched for a way to open it.

Then Amanda noticed something.

"There are two handprints."

One was on the left.

The other on the right.

Vanessa looked at her sister.

"We need both of us."

They placed their palms against the sensors.

For a few seconds...

Nothing happened.

Thenβ€”

CLICK.

The steel door slowly opened.

Everyone stared inside.

There were stacks of documents, property deeds, jewelry boxes, old photographs, and several locked briefcases.

But Amanda noticed something strange.

At the center of the vault was a small wooden box.

Her name was written on it.

AMANDA.

Beside it was another.

VANESSA.

Vanessa's heart began racing.

"Why did Grandpa leave separate boxes for us?"

Amanda reached for hers.

Before she could open it...

A phone rang.

Everyone froze.

It was Kingsley's phone.

He looked terrified.

The screen showed one name:

ELENA.

He answered reluctantly.

Elena's voice came through.

"I know you've opened the vault."

Kingsley said nothing.

Elena laughed softly.

"Tell my nieces..."

"They have exactly one hour."

Amanda grabbed the phone.

"One hour for what?"

Elena's voice became cold.

"To decide which one of you wants to know the truth first."

The call ended.

Amanda looked at Vanessa.

"What does that mean?"

Then both wooden boxes suddenly clicked open by themselves.

Inside each box was a photograph.

Amanda picked up hers.

Her face went pale.

Vanessa looked at hers.

She screamed.

The photographs showed the twins as newborn babies...

But they were not in the same hospital.

END OF EPISODE 21

Why were Amanda and Vanessa photographed in different hospitals on the same day they were born? Was the story of their separation a lie from the beginning?

Episode 20 – Evelyn's Twin

Evelyn stood in the doorway.

Nobody spoke.

Amanda stared at her.

"You knew our father was alive."

Evelyn slowly nodded.

"Yes."

Vanessa stepped forward angrily.

"And you knew our mother was alive too?"

Evelyn looked at their mother.

"I knew."

Amanda's voice broke.

"Then why did you keep us apart?"

Evelyn's eyes filled with tears.

"Because I was trying to protect you."

Daniel laughed bitterly.

"That's what you told yourself for twenty-five years."

---

Evelyn looked at him.

"You have no right to judge me."

"You disappeared."

"You left me to face everything alone."

Daniel's expression hardened.

"I disappeared because your sister threatened my life."

Everyone froze.

Amanda frowned.

"Your sister?"

Evelyn slowly turned toward the old photograph on the table.

"My twin sister..."

"Her name is Elena."

---

Vanessa picked up the photograph.

"But why does she look exactly like you?"

Evelyn answered,

"Because she is my identical twin."

Amanda stared at her.

"Where is she?"

Evelyn's face became pale.

"She's the reason your family was destroyed."

---

Daniel opened the brown file.

"Elena wanted control of your grandfather's entire fortune."

"Your mother refused to help her."

"So Elena created a plan."

"She used Evelyn's identity to move money from my company."

Vanessa looked at Evelyn.

"That's why your name appears on the documents."

Evelyn nodded.

"Elena made everyone believe I was the thief."

---

Amanda looked confused.

"Then why didn't you tell us?"

Evelyn's voice trembled.

"Because Elena knew something about you."

"What?"

Evelyn looked at the twins.

"She knew that one of you wasn't supposed to survive."

Silence filled the room.

Amanda's heart stopped.

"What do you mean?"

---

Before Evelyn could answer...

The lights suddenly went out.

Everyone froze.

A phone began ringing somewhere inside the mansion.

Ring... Ring... Ring...

Daniel reached for his phone.

It wasn't his.

Vanessa checked hers.

Nothing.

Then Amanda noticed an old phone sitting on the table.

It was ringing.

She picked it up.

"Hello?"

No answer.

Then a woman's voice whispered:

"Hello, Amanda."

Amanda's blood ran cold.

"Who is this?"

The woman laughed softly.

"You've been looking for me."

Amanda stared at Evelyn.

Evelyn's face turned completely pale.

"Hang up."

Amanda whispered,

"Elena?"

The woman on the phone laughed again.

"Very good."

---

Suddenly, the mansion's television switched on.

A live video appeared.

A woman was sitting in a dark room.

She looked exactly like Evelyn.

Amanda gasped.

Vanessa stepped backward.

"There are two of her..."

Elena smiled at the camera.

"Hello, my beautiful nieces."

Daniel rushed toward the television.

"Elena!"

She laughed.

"Daniel..."

"Still protecting your precious daughters?"

Daniel's face hardened.

"Leave them alone."

Elena leaned closer to the camera.

"I don't want them."

"I want something they have."

Amanda asked,

"What?"

Elena smiled.

"The original family inheritance."

---

The screen suddenly went black.

Then one final message appeared:

YOU HAVE 48 HOURS.

OR THE TWINS WILL NEVER KNOW THE WHOLE TRUTH.

Amanda looked at Vanessa.

"What inheritance?"

Their mother began crying.

Daniel closed his eyes.

He finally whispered,

"Your grandfather didn't leave the family money to your father."

"He left it..."

"To you two."

END OF EPISODE 20

Episode 19 – The Man Behind the Betrayal

Nobody moved.

Amanda stared at the man standing at the top of the staircase.

Her lips trembled.

"Dad?"

The man slowly walked down the stairs.

"Yes, Amanda."

Vanessa burst into tears.

"You're really our father?"

Daniel nodded.

"I never stopped being your father."

Amanda stepped backward.

"Then why did you leave us?"

Daniel's eyes filled with tears.

"Because I was forced to."

---

Their mother suddenly stood up.

"Daniel..."

He looked at her.

"You shouldn't have come back."

Daniel shook his head.

"We've hidden for long enough."

Vanessa looked between them.

"Hidden from who?"

Daniel took a deep breath.

"From the man who destroyed our family."

Amanda immediately thought of Richard.

"Richard?"

Daniel's expression changed.

"No."

"Richard was only working for him."

The room became silent.

Vanessa whispered,

"Then who?"

Daniel looked toward the old family portrait.

"The person behind everything..."

"Was someone we trusted."

---

He walked toward the portrait and removed it from the wall.

Behind it was another hidden compartment.

Daniel pulled out an old brown file.

"I kept this for twenty-five years."

Amanda opened it.

Inside were bank statements, company documents, photographs, and copies of secret transactions.

Vanessa stared at the documents.

"Someone was transferring money from Dad's company."

Daniel nodded.

"Millions."

Amanda looked at the name on the documents.

Her face suddenly changed.

"No..."

Vanessa took the document from her.

They both froze.

The name appeared repeatedly.

EVELYN WILLIAMS.

---

Amanda turned toward her mother.

"Mom..."

"You did this?"

Their mother began crying.

"No."

"I never stole your father's money."

Daniel looked at her sadly.

"I know."

Amanda frowned.

"Then why does her name appear everywhere?"

Daniel pointed at another document.

"Because someone used Evelyn's identity."

Vanessa stared at him.

"Who?"

Daniel hesitated.

Then he pulled out an old photograph.

It showed Evelyn standing beside another woman.

The woman looked almost exactly like her.

Amanda's eyes widened.

"Who is that?"

Daniel answered quietly.

"Her twin sister."

---

Suddenly...

A car horn sounded outside.

Daniel rushed to the window.

His expression changed instantly.

"We have to leave."

Amanda looked outside.

Several black SUVs had surrounded the mansion.

Vanessa whispered,

"How did they find us?"

Daniel grabbed the family file.

"They've been watching this house."

He looked directly at the twins.

"And now they know you're here."

---

A loud knock came from the front door.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

A man's voice echoed through the house.

"Daniel!"

"We know you're inside."

Daniel's face went pale.

Amanda asked,

"Who is that?"

Daniel looked at her.

"The man I was talking about."

Another voice followed.

This time...

It was a woman's voice.

Evelyn.

"Daniel, open the door."

"I think our daughters deserve to hear the truth from me."

Amanda and Vanessa stared at each other.

Their mother began trembling.

Daniel whispered,

"Don't believe everything she tells you."

The door slowly began to open.

And Evelyn stepped inside.

She looked directly at the twins.

Then smiled.

"My daughters..."

Episode 18 – The Father Who Never Died

The chapel became completely silent.

Amanda stared at her mother.

"Mom..."

"Did you just say our father is alive?"

Her mother couldn't answer.

Tears rolled down her cheeks.

Vanessa stepped closer.

"You knew?"

The woman slowly nodded.

"I've known for twenty-five years."

Amanda's voice trembled.

"Then why did you let us believe he was dead?"

Her mother looked away.

"Because I was trying to keep you alive."

---

The police dragged the assassin outside.

But before he entered the patrol vehicle, he looked back at Amanda.

"You'll find him at the place where everything started."

Amanda frowned.

"Where?"

The assassin smiled.

"The old family house."

Then he was taken away.

---

Inside the chapel, Dr. Ibrahim looked deeply worried.

Amanda turned to him.

"You knew about my father too?"

He hesitated.

"Yes."

Vanessa's eyes widened.

"Everyone knew except us!"

Dr. Ibrahim lowered his head.

"Your father didn't die."

"He disappeared after your birth."

Amanda asked,

"Why?"

Her mother finally spoke.

"Because he was being hunted."

---

She sat down slowly.

"Your father, Daniel, discovered that someone was stealing money from his company."

"When he tried to expose them..."

"His enemies destroyed his business."

"They made everyone believe he had died."

Vanessa shook her head.

"So the company collapse wasn't an accident?"

"No."

Her mother looked at her.

"It was planned."

---

Amanda suddenly remembered something.

"The property documents on the flash drive..."

She pulled out her phone.

"We saw a folder called PROPERTY DOCUMENTS."

Dr. Ibrahim's eyes widened.

"Then your father may have left evidence behind."

"Evidence that could identify everyone involved."

Amanda looked at Vanessa.

"We need to find it."

---

Later that night...

They arrived at an old family house on the outskirts of Lagos.

The building looked abandoned.

Dust covered the windows.

The garden was completely overgrown.

Amanda stared at the house.

"This is where we lived?"

Her mother nodded.

"This was your home."

Vanessa slowly walked toward the front door.

"It feels familiar."

She touched the old wooden door.

Suddenly...

A memory flashed through her mind.

A man laughing.

Two babies crying.

A woman singing softly.

Vanessa stepped backward.

"I remember this place."

Amanda stared at her.

"What did you see?"

"My father."

---

They entered the house.

Everything had been left untouched.

Old furniture.

Family photographs.

Children's toys.

Amanda noticed something unusual.

A large portrait of their father hung on the wall.

She walked closer.

Behind the portrait...

Was a small safe.

Dr. Ibrahim whispered,

"Daniel never told me about that."

Amanda touched the safe.

A small red light suddenly appeared.

BEEP.

The safe unlocked automatically.

Inside was a single envelope.

Amanda opened it.

There was a handwritten note.

She read:

"My daughters, if you ever find this, it means I'm no longer hiding."

Vanessa covered her mouth.

Amanda continued.

"But don't trust the woman who raised you."

Everyone froze.

Amanda slowly looked at her mother.

"Mom..."

Her mother began crying.

"I can explain."

Before she could say anything...

A man's voice came from upstairs.

"You should have left this house alone."

Everyone looked up.

A man's footsteps slowly approached the staircase.

Then a figure appeared.

Amanda's heart stopped.

The man looked exactly like the photograph on the wall.

He stared directly at the twins.

"My daughters..."
