Episode 20 – The Final Choice

The underground chamber fell silent.

The golden treasure chest shimmered beneath the torchlight.

Ada looked at Amara.

Amara looked back at Ada.

Neither sister spoke.

Their father remained chained across the deep stone pit.

His breathing was weak.

"Don't listen to him!" he shouted.

"It's another trap!"

Their uncle smiled.

"Everything your father says is driven by fear."

He gently rested his hand on the ancient golden chest.

"This treasure has belonged to our family for generations."

"But tradition demands that only one heir can claim it."

He looked at the twins.

"So..."

"Which one of you deserves it?"

---

Ada took a step forward.

"I don't want your treasure."

"I only want my father."

The uncle laughed softly.

"That's exactly what your father said years ago."

"He chose family over power."

"And look where it brought him."

Amara stepped beside her sister.

"We don't care about money."

"We're leaving together."

The uncle's smile slowly faded.

"You still don't understand."

He pointed toward the treasure chest.

"This isn't filled with gold."

"It contains something far more valuable."

---

He unlocked the chest.

The heavy lid slowly opened.

Everyone expected to see diamonds...

Gold...

Or priceless jewels.

Instead...

Inside were old books.

Leather-bound journals.

Ancient maps.

Legal documents.

And a small wooden box engraved with two butterflies.

Ada frowned.

"That's the treasure?"

The uncle nodded.

"This is proof of ownership."

"Thousands of acres of land."

"Entire villages."

Mineral rights.

Historic artifacts.

Billions in hidden family assets."

"The person who owns these documents controls an empire."

The room became silent.

---

Suddenly...

The billionaire father shouted with all the strength he had left.

"Burn it!"

Everyone turned toward him.

His eyes were filled with urgency.

"Burn every document!"

The uncle's expression changed instantly.

"No!"

The father continued shouting.

"I spent twenty years protecting my daughters from this curse."

"This inheritance destroyed our family."

"It turned brothers into enemies."

"It separated innocent children."

"It created murderers."

Ada stared at the treasure.

For the first time...

She understood.

The treasure wasn't wealth.

It was the reason her family had suffered for decades.

---

The uncle slowly raised a pistol.

"If anyone touches those documents..."

"I'll kill him."

Before anyone could move...

The adopted son suddenly appeared from another tunnel.

He had escaped again.

His clothes were torn.

His face was bruised.

But he still carried a rifle.

He pointed it toward everyone.

"No one gets the treasure except me."

The uncle looked furious.

"You fool!"

"You've ruined everything!"

The adopted son laughed.

"I learned from the best."

The two men turned their weapons on each other.

For the first time...

The mastermind and his own apprentice stood as enemies.

---

Taking advantage of the distraction...

Emily quietly crawled behind the stone pillar where the billionaire father was chained.

She found the rusty lock.

Using a broken piece of metal...

She began picking it.

The chain loosened.

Almost free.

One more second...

CLICK!

The chain snapped open.

The father was free.

But at that exact moment...

The uncle noticed.

He turned his pistol toward Emily.

"You shouldn't have done that."

He pulled the trigger.

BANG!

The gunshot echoed through the ancient chamber.

Emily screamed.

The twins screamed.

The father lunged forward.

The adopted son fired at the same time.

BANG!

BANG!

Three gunshots echoed through the chamber.

The ancient pillars trembled violently.

The golden treasure chest tipped over the edge...

And disappeared into the deep stone pit below.

The ground began to shake.

Massive cracks spread across the chamber floor.

Ancient walls started collapsing.

The lighthouse above groaned as if it were about to fall into the sea.

Nobody knew who had been shot.

Nobody knew who would survive.

And the family treasure...

Had vanished into the darkness.

Episode 19 – The Old Lighthouse

The black rose slipped from Ada's hand.

For a long moment, no one spoke.

The hospital room felt colder than before.

Amara finally broke the silence.

"We're going."

Emily turned sharply.

"Are you serious?"

"It's obviously a trap."

Ada nodded.

"I know."

"But if we don't go..."

"We'll never see our father again."

---

Within an hour...

A police task force surrounded the abandoned Old Lighthouse, perched on a rocky cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

The sky had turned dark.

Strong winds whipped across the crashing waves below.

The lighthouse stood alone, weathered by time, its broken beacon towering over the sea like a forgotten guardian.

Police snipers took positions on nearby cliffs.

Special tactical officers hid behind abandoned fishing boats.

Everything was ready.

Or so they thought.

---

Ada and Amara walked slowly toward the lighthouse entrance.

The old wooden door creaked open by itself.

No one was there.

Only darkness.

A single lantern flickered in the middle of the room.

Beside it...

Another black rose.

Ada picked it up.

A voice echoed through hidden speakers.

"Welcome."

"You came exactly as I expected."

The sisters looked around.

"Show yourself!" Ada shouted.

The voice laughed.

"Patience."

"The game has only just begun."

---

Suddenly...

Every exit slammed shut.

BANG!

Heavy iron doors locked automatically.

The windows were covered by steel shutters.

The sisters were trapped.

Outside...

The police tried to rush in.

But the main entrance wouldn't open.

One officer shouted,

"It's reinforced!"

Another yelled,

"Someone has locked us out!"

---

Inside the lighthouse...

The floor suddenly shook.

A circular section of the wooden floor slowly descended like an elevator.

Ada and Amara screamed as they were lowered deep beneath the lighthouse.

When it finally stopped...

They found themselves inside a magnificent underground chamber unlike anything they had ever seen.

The walls were covered with ancient carvings.

Massive stone pillars reached toward the ceiling.

At the center of the chamber stood an enormous golden chest decorated with two engraved butterflies.

Ada stared in disbelief.

"The treasure..."

Mama Grace had been telling the truth.

---

A spotlight suddenly illuminated the opposite side of the chamber.

The mysterious man in black stepped forward.

For the first time...

He removed his hat.

Then...

He slowly removed the dark mask covering his face.

Ada gasped.

"No..."

Amara covered her mouth.

"It can't be..."

Standing before them was...

Their father's younger brother.

Their uncle.

The man everyone believed had died twenty-five years ago.

He smiled calmly.

"Welcome, my nieces."

"I've been waiting for this day your entire lives."

Ada's voice trembled.

"You're alive?"

He nodded.

"And everything your father told you..."

"...was only half the truth."

Before Ada could respond...

A weak voice echoed from the darkness.

"Ada..."

"Daughter..."

The sisters turned.

Their father was chained to a stone pillar, bruised but alive.

"Dad!"

They rushed toward him.

But before they reached him...

The floor between them split open.

A deep pit separated the family.

The uncle smiled.

"If you want to save him..."

"You'll first have to prove you're worthy of the family inheritance."

He slowly placed one hand on the golden chest.

"And only one twin can claim it."

The sisters stared at each other.

"What do you mean..."

"Only one?"

The mastermind has finally revealed himself... but his cruel challenge could force the twins to choose between family and fortune.

Episode 16 – The Last Confession

The tunnel fell silent.

The billionaire father collapsed onto the cold stone floor.

"Ada..."

"Amara..."

His trembling voice barely rose above a whisper.

The pistol slipped from the adopted son's hand.

He stared in disbelief.

"I... I didn't mean..."

Before he could finish, police officers surrounded him.

"Drop to your knees!"

He slowly raised his hands.

For the first time in years...

The man who had controlled everyone's lives looked completely defeated.

---

Ada and Amara rushed to their father.

"Dad!"

They held him as blood slowly stained his suit.

Emily knelt beside them, crying.

Mama Grace wiped tears from her face.

The father smiled weakly.

"This..."

"...is the happiest day of my life."

Ada shook her head.

"No."

"Don't say that."

"We're getting you out of here."

She looked at the officers.

"Call an ambulance!"

One officer immediately radioed for emergency medical teams.

---

The father reached into his pocket with trembling fingers.

He pulled out a small silver key.

He placed it in Ada's hand.

"There's one final secret."

Ada frowned.

"What secret?"

"The key..."

"...opens a safe in my study."

"Everything is inside."

"The truth."

"My confession."

"My will."

"And the names..."

"...of everyone who helped destroy our family."

The tunnel fell silent.

Even the police officers listened carefully.

---

Suddenly...

The adopted son began laughing.

Everyone turned toward him.

"You think you've won?"

He smiled through tears.

"You still don't understand."

Ada stood.

"What are you talking about?"

He looked directly at the billionaire.

"You were never the mastermind."

The father's eyes widened.

"No..."

The adopted son nodded slowly.

"I was only following orders."

Emily frowned.

"Whose orders?"

The adopted son laughed again.

"The person who wanted Ada dead..."

"The person who separated the twins..."

"The person who built the underground prison..."

"...is still alive."

A chill swept through the tunnel.

The father tried to speak.

But before he could...

The adopted son shouted,

"Ask your mother!"

Silence.

Every eye turned toward the elegant woman.

She stood motionless.

Her face had turned pale.

Ada stared at her.

"Mother..."

"What is he talking about?"

She couldn't answer.

Her hands began to shake uncontrollably.

Tears streamed down her cheeks.

Finally...

She whispered,

"I never wanted it to happen."

The tunnel erupted with gasps.

"What?"

Amara stepped back in horror.

"No..."

The woman fell to her knees.

"I thought they were only going to take one child away."

"I didn't know they planned to fake your death."

"I didn't know they would separate you forever."

The billionaire father closed his eyes in pain.

"You promised..."

"...you would never tell them."

The woman sobbed.

"I was scared."

"They threatened to kill all of us."

"I made the worst decision of my life."

Ada felt as though the ground had disappeared beneath her.

The mother she had dreamed of finding...

Had been hiding the truth all along.

---

Before anyone could say another word...

A loud explosion shook the tunnel.

BOOOOM!

The lights went out.

The tunnel filled with smoke.

Someone screamed.

Police officers shouted.

When the dust finally settled...

The adopted son was gone.

His handcuffs lay broken on the ground.

One officer shouted,

"He's escaped!"

At the same moment...

The billionaire father's eyes slowly closed.

The ambulance sirens echoed faintly in the distance.

No one knew if he was still alive.

The End of Episode 16

The father's confession exposed one secret... but the mother's tears revealed an even darker betrayal. And now the man behind it all has escaped.

Episode 15 – The Sisters' Escape

The underground chapel echoed with silence.

Ada and Amara stood frozen, staring at each other.

Twenty years of separation...

Countless unanswered questions...

And now, they were finally face to face.

Neither of them noticed the adopted son tightening his grip on the pistol.

He smiled coldly.

"What a touching reunion."

"It's a shame it has to end here."

He aimed the gun directly at the twins.

"Goodbye."

Before he could pull the trigger—

BANG!

A gunshot echoed through the chapel.

But it didn't come from his pistol.

One of the hanging lanterns exploded above him.

Glass shattered across the stone floor.

The entire room was plunged into chaos.

---

"Run!" a familiar voice shouted.

Everyone turned.

Standing at the broken entrance was the billionaire father, followed by Emily, Mama Grace, several police officers, and armed security guards.

The adopted son cursed under his breath.

"You called the police?"

The father stepped forward.

"It's over."

"There's nowhere left to run."

The adopted son laughed.

"You still don't know this place as well as I do."

He slammed his hand against a hidden stone wall.

RUMBLE!

A secret passage slid open behind him.

Without hesitation, he grabbed Amara by the arm and dragged her into the tunnel.

"Amara!" Ada screamed.

She ran after them without thinking.

---

The secret tunnel twisted beneath the forest like a maze.

Amara struggled desperately.

"Let me go!"

The adopted son pulled her harder.

"As long as I have you, your father will never stop chasing me."

Ada raced behind them.

The tunnel split into three different paths.

She stopped.

They were gone.

Only echoes remained.

Her heart pounded.

Which way had they gone?

Then...

She noticed something on the ground.

A pink scarf.

Amara had dropped it deliberately.

Ada smiled.

"You're leaving me a trail."

She followed the scarf.

---

Meanwhile, the billionaire father and the police searched the other tunnels.

One officer stopped suddenly.

"Sir..."

"You need to see this."

They entered a hidden underground chamber unlike anything they had seen before.

The walls were covered with shelves of dusty files.

Boxes filled with passports.

Birth certificates.

Property deeds.

Photographs.

Mama Grace gasped.

"This is his secret archive."

Emily picked up one document.

Her face turned pale.

"These aren't just our family's records."

The police commissioner took another file.

"It contains the identities of dozens of missing children."

The entire room fell silent.

The adopted son's crimes were far greater than anyone had imagined.

He hadn't just stolen one family's future.

He had destroyed many lives.

---

Far ahead in the tunnel...

The adopted son reached a steel door leading outside.

He smiled.

"We're almost free."

As he reached for the handle...

Amara suddenly stomped on his foot.

He cried out in pain.

She broke free and ran toward Ada.

The adopted son raised his pistol.

"No!"

He fired.

BANG!

The bullet sped toward Amara.

Ada saw it.

Without thinking...

She threw herself in front of her sister.

The gunshot echoed through the tunnel.

Amara screamed.

"Ada!"

Ada slowly looked down at herself.

Then back at Amara.

Her eyes were filled with confusion.

There was no blood.

No wound.

She hadn't been hit.

Behind her...

Someone collapsed.

The adopted son stared in disbelief.

Standing between the sisters and the bullet was...

The billionaire father.

He had arrived just in time.

The bullet had struck him in the chest.

He looked at both daughters...

A faint smile crossed his face.

Then he fell to the ground.

Episode 14 – The Girl in the Forest

Ada stood frozen.

The little girl was gone.

Only the rustling leaves remained.

She looked around desperately.

"Hello?"

No answer.

The forest had fallen eerily silent.

Even the birds had stopped singing.

For a moment, Ada wondered if exhaustion had made her imagine the child.

Then she looked down.

Tiny barefoot footprints were pressed into the soft mud.

Fresh footprints.

Someone had really been there.

---

Behind her, angry voices echoed through the trees.

"Spread out!"

"She can't be far!"

The adopted son's men were getting closer.

Ada quickly gathered the scattered documents, tucked the leather file under her arm, and followed the tiny footprints deeper into the forest.

The path became narrower.

Branches scratched her face.

Thorns tore at her uniform.

Yet the footprints continued, leading her forward.

Suddenly...

They stopped.

Ada looked around in confusion.

There was no one.

Only a large ancient tree standing in the middle of the forest.

Its massive roots stretched across the ground like giant hands.

Then she noticed something carved into the trunk.

A butterfly.

The exact same butterfly engraved on the silver bracelet her father had given her.

---

Curious, Ada touched the carving.

A loud click echoed.

Part of the giant tree slowly swung open.

Hidden inside was a narrow passage.

Ada gasped.

"A secret tunnel..."

Before she could enter, she heard footsteps.

She quickly slipped inside.

The tree closed silently behind her.

Seconds later, the adopted son and his armed men arrived.

One of the men pointed at the muddy ground.

"Sir..."

"Her footprints end here."

The adopted son frowned.

"Search every inch of this place."

They searched for several minutes.

Nothing.

Frustrated, he punched the tree trunk.

"She couldn't have vanished!"

Without realizing it...

He was standing inches away from the hidden entrance.

---

Inside the tunnel, Ada lit an old lantern hanging from the wall.

The passage was surprisingly clean.

Someone had been using it.

As she walked deeper inside, she noticed dozens of butterfly symbols carved into the walls.

The same symbol appeared again and again.

Whoever built the tunnel wanted only one person to find it.

At the end of the passage stood a small underground chapel.

Old wooden benches.

Dust-covered candles.

A faded cross.

And a single portrait hanging on the wall.

Ada walked closer.

Her breath caught.

It was a painting of two little girls holding hands.

Identical twins.

One wore a blue ribbon.

The other wore a pink ribbon.

Beneath the painting were the words:

"No matter how far they are separated... the sisters will find each other again."

Ada's eyes filled with tears.

Someone had known.

Someone had been protecting them all these years.

---

Suddenly...

A weak voice came from behind the altar.

"Ada..."

She turned instantly.

A hidden wooden door slowly creaked open.

A young woman stepped out.

She looked exactly like Ada.

The same eyes.

The same smile.

The same face.

The only difference...

She wore a faded pink scarf around her neck.

Tears streamed down the woman's cheeks.

She whispered,

"I've waited twenty years to meet you."

Ada could barely breathe.

"Amara..."

The young woman nodded.

Before the sisters could embrace...

A loud explosion shook the underground chapel.

BOOM!

Dust rained from the ceiling.

The hidden entrance had been blown open.

The adopted son's men stormed into the tunnel with weapons raised.

The adopted son stepped through the smoke, smiling coldly.

"So..."

He slowly clapped his hands.

"The family reunion is finally complete."

He raised his pistol.

"This time..."

"I won't let either of you escape."

Episode 13 – The Twin He Hid

Ada stood frozen, her heart pounding as she stared at the old photograph in her hands.

Two little girls.

Identical faces.

Identical smiles.

The same sparkling eyes.

The same butterfly bracelet on their tiny wrists.

The only difference was the color of their ribbons—one blue, the other pink.

Her hands began to tremble.

"This... this can't be possible."

The elderly man standing before her sighed deeply.

"It's true."

"You were never an only child."

"You were born with a twin sister."

Ada slowly lifted her eyes to meet his.

"My... twin sister?"

The old man nodded.

"Her name is Amara."

Just then, loud voices echoed outside the cabin.

"Search everywhere!"

"She can't have gone far!"

The adopted son's men were closing in.

---

The old man quickly shut the curtains and peeped through a crack in the window.

Three black SUVs surrounded the cabin.

Armed men spread through the forest, searching every direction.

He turned back to Ada.

"My name is Pa Solomon."

"I was your father's personal driver twenty years ago."

Ada's eyes narrowed.

"You knew my family?"

"I knew everything."

He lowered his head in shame.

"And I've carried that burden ever since."

---

Another loud bang hit the front door.

BANG!

The wooden walls shook.

Ada's breathing became faster.

"Please..."

She pleaded.

"No more secrets."

Pa Solomon took a deep breath.

"The night the mansion caught fire..."

"Someone wanted to kill one of the twins."

Ada felt her knees weaken.

"Which one?"

Pa Solomon looked straight into her eyes.

"You."

The room became silent.

"You survived the fire."

"But your father believed your enemies would keep searching until they found you."

"So he made the world believe you had died."

Ada shook her head in disbelief.

"He let everyone think I was dead?"

"He believed it was the only way to keep you alive."

---

Another heavy blow struck the front door.

CRASH!

Splinters of wood fell onto the floor.

Pa Solomon rushed to an old wooden chest hidden beneath his bed.

He unlocked it and removed a worn brown leather file.

"Take this."

Ada opened it.

Inside were birth certificates.

Hospital records.

Family photographs.

Newspaper clippings.

Everything proved she and Amara were identical twin sisters.

Then she noticed a folded handwritten letter.

She carefully opened it.

It was from her father.

"My dearest Ada,

If you are reading this, then fate has finally brought the truth to you.

You have a twin sister named Amara.

Trust no one inside the mansion.

Find her before those who destroyed our family do.

Forgive me... if you can."

Tears streamed down Ada's cheeks.

For the first time, she realized her father had never truly abandoned her.

He had been trying to protect her.

---

The front door exploded inward.

BOOM!

Armed men stormed into the cabin.

Pa Solomon immediately pushed Ada toward the back door.

"Run!"

She grabbed the leather file and sprinted into the forest.

Gunshots rang out behind her.

BANG!

BANG!

Leaves scattered as bullets struck nearby trees.

Ada didn't dare look back.

She ran as fast as she could.

---

Inside the cabin, the adopted son calmly walked through the wreckage.

His eyes landed on the old photograph lying on the floor.

He picked it up.

His confident smile slowly disappeared.

Two identical little girls stared back at him.

"So..."

He muttered.

"The old man kept the evidence."

He turned toward his armed men.

"Listen carefully."

"No matter what happens..."

"Ada must never reach the police."

"And if she finds Amara..."

His face became cold.

"...bring me both of them."

---

Deep inside the forest, Ada finally stopped to catch her breath.

She leaned against a large tree, exhausted.

As she opened the leather file again, a folded map slipped onto the ground.

She picked it up.

One location had been circled in bright red ink.

St. Gabriel Orphanage.

Below it, someone had written three words in faded handwriting:

"She was taken here."

Ada's heart raced.

"Amara..."

Before she could think further...

She heard soft footsteps behind her.

She slowly turned around.

Standing between the trees was a little girl wearing a faded white dress.

She smiled gently at Ada.

Then she pointed deeper into the forest.

"She's waiting for you."

Before Ada could ask who she meant...

The little girl disappeared into the thick mist.

Ada stood frozen, clutching the map tightly.

Was the mysterious child leading her to Amara...

Or was she leading her into another deadly trap?

Episode 12 – The River Below

Ada screamed as she plunged into the darkness.

The collapsing ventilation shaft crashed down behind her.

She braced herself for the impact.

Instead...

SPLASH!

She crashed into freezing cold water.

The force pulled her beneath the surface.

She struggled wildly, unable to tell which way was up.

Her lungs burned.

She kicked with all her strength until her head finally broke through the water.

She gasped for air.

The underground chamber was gone.

She had fallen into a fast-moving underground river.

---

Above her, faint voices echoed through the broken tunnel.

"Ada!"

Her father's voice.

Emily's cries.

Mama Grace shouting for help.

But the roaring river drowned them out.

The current swept Ada deeper into the darkness.

She reached for the rocky walls.

Her fingers slipped.

The water carried her farther away.

---

Back inside the collapsing mansion...

The billionaire father dropped to his knees at the edge of the massive hole.

"No..."

His voice trembled.

"Not again."

A rescue guard grabbed his shoulder.

"Sir, the ground is still collapsing!"

"We have to leave now!"

The father refused to move.

"I already lost her once."

"I'm not losing her again."

Another violent tremor shook the chamber.

Huge rocks crashed into the hole.

The guards had no choice.

They pulled him away by force.

Just as they reached the escape tunnel...

The entire underground chamber collapsed.

BOOOOM!

A cloud of dust burst from beneath the mansion.

The ground above cracked.

Part of the luxurious mansion began sinking into the earth.

Outside, terrified neighbors watched in disbelief as one wing of the billionaire's estate collapsed.

Police, firefighters, and emergency responders rushed toward the scene.

The secret beneath the mansion could no longer remain hidden.

---

Miles away...

The underground river finally slowed.

Ada drifted toward a narrow opening where sunlight poured in.

The current pushed her onto a muddy riverbank surrounded by thick forest.

She lay there, exhausted, coughing up water.

For several minutes, she couldn't move.

Finally, she opened her eyes.

Birds chirped overhead.

The air smelled fresh.

She had survived.

But she was completely alone.

She looked back at the river.

The underground tunnel was nowhere to be seen.

It was as if it had swallowed her past forever.

---

As Ada struggled to her feet, she noticed a small wooden cabin hidden among the trees.

Thin smoke rose from its chimney.

Someone lived there.

She hesitated.

Then slowly walked toward it.

Before she could knock...

The door opened.

An elderly man with a gray beard stared at her.

His eyes widened.

He whispered,

"It can't be..."

"You have her face."

Ada frowned.

"Whose face?"

The old man looked around nervously before pulling her inside.

He quickly locked the door.

"You shouldn't be standing out there."

"They're already searching for you."

Ada's heart skipped a beat.

"Who?"

The old man walked to an old wooden shelf and picked up a faded photograph.

He handed it to her.

Ada looked at the picture...

Her hands began to tremble.

It showed two little girls standing beside the billionaire father.

Not one.

Not even two daughters she knew about.

These girls were identical twins.

One was Ada.

The other...

Looked exactly like her.

Before Ada could speak...

Several black SUVs stopped outside the cabin.

Car doors slammed shut.

Heavy footsteps surrounded the house.

Then a cold, familiar voice called from outside.

"Open the door."

It was the adopted son.

He smiled from outside the cabin.

"You escaped the mansion..."

"...but you can't escape me."

Episode 11 – The Escape

The massive slab of concrete broke free.

It came crashing toward Ada with terrifying speed.

"ADA!"

Her father's desperate scream echoed through the underground chamber.

Instinct took over.

Ada threw herself to one side just as the enormous slab smashed into the ground.

BOOM!

The impact shook the entire tunnel.

Dust and broken stones flew everywhere.

Ada rolled across the floor, coughing violently.

She had escaped by mere seconds.

---

On the other side of the steel security door, her family watched helplessly.

The billionaire father pounded the thick metal with all his strength.

"Find a way to open it!"

The security guards searched frantically for a control panel.

"It's locked electronically, sir!"

"There must be another switch!"

Emily looked around desperately.

Then she noticed a bundle of thick electrical cables running along the wall.

"They're connected to the door!"

One guard pulled out a heavy rescue axe.

"Stand back!"

BANG!

The first strike barely damaged the cables.

BANG!

The second strike sent sparks flying.

On the third strike...

The steel door shuddered but refused to open.

Time was running out.

---

Ada struggled to her feet.

The tunnel behind her was collapsing.

Flames spread rapidly across the wooden beams.

Smoke filled the air.

She looked around, searching for another way out.

Then her flashlight revealed something hidden beneath the rubble.

An old blueprint nailed to the wall.

She wiped away the dust.

It was a map of the underground chamber.

At the bottom, written in faded ink, were the words:

"Emergency Escape Route – River Exit."

Ada followed the map with her finger.

There was another tunnel.

But it was almost completely blocked by fallen rocks.

It was her only chance.

---

Meanwhile...

The adopted son dragged himself toward the damaged control panel.

Blood stained his shirt, but his smile had returned.

"If I can't leave alive..."

"...none of you will."

He reached for another red lever.

Before he could pull it...

Mama Grace grabbed a broken wooden plank.

With all the strength she had left...

She struck him across the arm.

He cried out in pain as the lever slipped from his hand.

Emily rushed forward and kicked the pistol far across the chamber.

The security guards quickly restrained him.

His plan had failed.

---

Back inside the blocked tunnel...

Ada pushed against the fallen rocks.

They wouldn't move.

She pushed harder.

Nothing.

Tears filled her eyes.

"This can't be how it ends."

Just then...

She heard a familiar voice.

"Ada..."

She turned around.

Her father was calling to her through a narrow crack beside the steel door.

He could barely see her.

"You'll never move those rocks alone."

Ada wiped away her tears.

"What do I do?"

He smiled sadly.

"When you were little..."

"...you never gave up."

"You always found another way."

His words sparked something in her.

She looked up.

Above the blocked tunnel was an old ventilation shaft.

It was narrow...

But just wide enough for one person.

She dragged an old wooden crate beneath it.

Climbed onto the crate.

And pulled herself into the shaft.

The rusty metal groaned beneath her weight.

She crawled slowly through the darkness.

Every movement threatened to bring the tunnel down.

Suddenly...

The shaft began to crack.

Bolts popped loose.

The metal bent under her.

Emily screamed from below.

"It's collapsing!"

Ada crawled faster.

Daylight.

She could see daylight ahead.

Hope filled her heart.

She stretched one hand toward the opening.

But before she could reach it...

The ventilation shaft ripped away from the wall.

Ada screamed as she plunged into the darkness below.

At the exact same moment...

The steel security door finally slid open.

Her father rushed forward.

"Ada!"

But all he saw was a cloud of dust...

And a massive hole where the floor had collapsed.

She was gone.
