Let's hear the truth 😂

Can two people genuinely be "just friends" without one of them eventually catching feelings?

YES or NO?

Don't explain yourself yet. 😂👇🏽

Random question 👀
Would you rather have:
₦10 million today

Let's be honest 😂

What's something you said you'd never do when you were younger...
..but now you're doing it regularly? 😭

I'll go first: sleeping early. 😂

I've been thinking a lot about the difference between knowing better and actually doing better.

Sometimes, we are incredibly good at giving advice to other people. We can see their mistakes, understand their patterns, explain exactly what they should change, and even give them the words they need to hear.

Then we go back to our own lives and somehow struggle to apply the same wisdom.

For a long time, I thought that understanding myself was enough. If I could identify why I behaved a certain way, recognize my mistakes, and admit when I was wrong, then surely I was already changing.

But I'm beginning to understand that self-awareness without action can become another form of procrastination.

You can spend hours analyzing yourself and still wake up the next morning and repeat the same behavior.

I've also realized that people don't always change suddenly. Sometimes it happens quietly. Little comparisons become envy. Small insecurities become a need for validation. A harmless desire becomes an obsession. Before you know it, you're becoming the kind of person you once advised others not to become.

And one of the hardest things is realizing that other people may see a version of you that you don't see yourself.

That realization can hurt.

But perhaps that's not something to run from.

Maybe instead of asking, "What kind of person am I?", we should sometimes ask, "What kind of person was I today?"

Did I treat people fairly?

Did I allow my emotions to control my decisions?

Did I do something because I genuinely wanted it, or because I wanted someone else to see me differently?

Did I admit when I was wrong?

Did I keep the promises I made to myself?

Did I spend my time building something, or only thinking about the person I want to become?

I don't think maturity means having everything figured out. I think it means becoming increasingly willing to look at yourself honestly without either glorifying yourself or destroying yourself.
