Una dey complain about Nigeria Police Force, I dey laugh 😂.
My phone and other stuffs were stolen from my apartment, I went to Choba police station to file a report on the 24th of May 2025. After writing the report, I was requested to pay #10,000 for filing a report. I didn't even asked for investigation or tracking of my device, I just want the police to have the first hand knowledge of the fact that my things were stolen.
I do not suspect anyone to the effect of the situation, but the inspector that attended to me said I have to pay to file the report properly. At this point I was disappointed and demoralized with the whole scenarios. I can't even access my bank and I was left with just about #3,850.
At this point, I became speechless and requested to pay a deposit of #2000 and later complete the money.
I struggled for weeks in pains and psychological trauma and its seems like the world has changed her garment of darkness on me, I felt the buoyant wave and staggered.
Life was chartered and battered for me as I slept every night crying. It wasn't easy to bounce back again but I don't have a choice.
I lost everything I have built for years within some second into the cold hand of Mr. thief on the 23rd of May 2025 as about 05 46AM.
Is the police truly our friends....?
