Today, we're shining the spotlight on a remarkable individual who played a pivotal role in bringing peace to our beloved Rivers State.
Let's take a closer look at the incredible story of Engr. Samapson Ngerebara Adumu PhD.
Do You Know That In 1993, Engr. Adumu helped bring an end to the Andoni-Ogoni war, a conflict that had devastating effects on the people of Rivers State. But his contributions didn't stop there. He also took in and cared for victims from both ethnic groups, providing them with food and rehabilitation. His generosity and leadership didn't go unnoticed.
Born on June 1st, 1960, in Isi-ama Village, Andoni Local Government Area, Engr. Adumu's commitment to public service is inspiring. He obtained his M.Eng in Power Systems from the University of Port Harcourt in 2002.
Throughout his career, Engr. Adumu has held several positions of trust. He's been Vice President of the Andoni Progressive Union, President of the Students Union Government at the University of Port Harcourt, and even served as Hon. Commissioner for Works and Transport in Rivers State from 1992-1993.
Today, we honor Engr. Samapson Ngerebara Adumu PhD for his selfless service and dedication to the people of Rivers State. His legacy continues to inspire a new generation of leaders.
