Idea to MVP: A Founder's Guide to Building Your First Product WEBINAR, led by Oluchukwu Okafor
A huge thank you to everyone who attended and to Oluchukwu Okafor for taking us on an insightful journey into product development!
Here are a few takeaways from the session:
We explored the difference between the "conventional approach" and the powerful "learning first approach" for building a product.
The "learning first approach" is a game-changer for industries with low failure costs (like tech) but isn't a one-size-fits-all solution. It's less suitable for ventures like hardware or highly regulated fields.
Before writing a single line of code or building a prototype, confirm that you are solving a real and meaningful problem for people.
Consistent communication with your users should be integrated into every stage of the development process, not just at the beginning.
Treat your initial ideas like seeds. Plant many, see which ones start to grow, and only then invest more time and resources into the most promising ones.
Don't be afraid to share and collaborate. Ex*****on is far more valuable than the idea itself.
